Can we talk self care for a second. Why do we pride ourselves in taking care of everyone else, but feel bad when we take some “me time”. We celebrate being busy helping others, but don’t make time for ourselves. This is such an unhealthy mindset and only leads to exhaustion. Quante volte ci siamo fatti (e quante volte lo faremo…) la fatidica domanda “Perché incontro sempre le persone sbagliate?” “SI INCONTRANO SEMPRE LE PERSONE GIUSTE!” Le persone hanno una sola funzione per noi: farci vivere delle esperienze (positive o negative) di cui abbiamo bisogno.
Le persone con le quali ci relazioniamo (a qualsiasi livello) sono degli specchi che ci consentono di imparare qualcosa dalla vita facendoci fare esercizio.
1) Le persone appaiono nella nostra vita perché c'è uno scopo (ogni relazione ha una funzione utile per noi e ci insegna una lezione di vita importante)! 2) Le persone che appaiono nella nostra vita, sono chiamate dal nostro inconscio (i cervelli sono come delle ricetrasmittenti)! 3) Quando la lezione di vita è stata appresa, il rapporto si trasforma o si interrompe
4) Le dinamiche dei rapporti sono sempre le stesse e si ripetono anche con le altre persone.
Prova a considerare le tue relazioni (a qualsiasi livello)… quali e perché erano o sono, secondo te, sbagliate?
Ogni volta che incontri una persona con caratteristiche simili alla precedente è perché non hai imparato la lezione che quel “tipo” di persona poteva insegnarti.
Prima impari a gestire coscientemente i tuoi 'rapporti sbagliati' e prima scioglierai i nodi che ti impediscono di vivere rapporti sani.
Alcune persone care ti lasceranno. E lo faranno nel momento più opportuno per te. Perché hai appreso la lezione, o perché la apprenderai solo nel momento in cui se ne andranno.
Alcune persone ti sfioreranno solo per un attimo e tu non ti accorgerai nemmeno di loro, ma sfiorandoti ti indirizzeranno lungo la strada.
Alcune di loro sembreranno ostili o addirittura cattive nei tuoi confronti. Da loro puoi imparare a riconoscere quello che non vuoi nella tua Vita.
Alcune ci faranno provare delle emozioni particolari quali la rabbia, la paura, l'indifferenza, non perché sono cattive, ma semplicemente per insegnarci che cos'è il perdono, il coraggio, la compassione.
Accettiamo la lezione che ci stanno donando, qualsiasi essa sia, perché ci stanno indicando la nostra strada.
E ricorda: anche tu stai indicando la strada a chi ti sta intorno!!!

Entrar en el asana, eso si que es todo un reto. Necesitas tiempo, rendición, paciencia y mucho amor.
El uso de props (herramientas externas) te permite precisamente esto: tener una mejor alineación, usar los grupos musculares necesarios para la ejecución de la postura y despertar la conciencia corporal, energética y espiritual para estar en Asana.
Recuerda que muchas veces menos más, el factor clave es la conciencia.
Day 20 - Challenge #yogawithdeandre
To be in Asana, that's a big challenge. You need time, surrender, patience and much love.
The use of props (external tools) allows you precisely that: to have a better alignment, to use the proper muscular chains to execute the posture and to awake awareness IN all levels - physical, energetic and spiritual - to be in Asana.
Remember, often less is more, the master key is consciousness.

Nothing about today went as planned. Late, missed, overbooked flights. It's times like this when it's critical that I hold true to my health and fitness commitments. Check out that vending machine I found at O'Hare Airport!! Amazing 'real' food choices 😁 The rest of the day was filled with fruit, protein shakes, and plenty of H2O 💦. ****
I got to my hotel super late, but I promised myself (remember I've officially stopped breaking promises to myself??) I would get my yoga 🕉️ workout in today. Not only do I feel amazing after stretching out after a day in the airport and on planes, I'm proud that I held true to my commitment 😊
You have to constantly try and create those new pathways of thinking in your brain. Especially at the beginning. Even more months later when you think you have them dug in deep, and taking it for granted. That's my challenge. Sticking with it, and not getting comfortable with my progress. Breath. Positive mind set. Rest. Diet. Movement. Discipline. New challenges. Stepping out of comfort zones. Love. Discussion. You see, your attitude is the librarian of your past, the speaker of the present, and the prophet of your future. Not only does it determine your success and happiness, but it also determines your sadness and failures. So you’ve got to make your attitude work for you, believing that you’re worth the effort... that you’re goals are worth the effort... that you’re dreams are worth the effort. Because if anything is worth doing, it’s worth doing until you get it right. You see, you’ve got to ensure your success. And if you’re going to reach your dreams, you’re going to need to stretch... you’re going to need to expand into entirely new areas. Because, in order to do something you’ve never done, you’ve got to become someone you’ve never been.
