This morning we woke to the heart breaking news that one of our most beautiful and loyal customers, Tess, passed away overnight. 💔🐾 Tess visited Third Base every day on her morning walk and again around closing time to pick up any delicious crumbs that may have been left around outside 😝 We’ll miss seeing those gorgeous brown eyes each day and we send all our love to her human, Koula 😘 #ThirdBaseCoffee

Words cannot express how much we love these mouthwateringly delicious ‘Zucchini & Corn Fritters’ with smashed avocado, fried enoki, poached egg & sriracha hollandaise from the recently opened @Shade.Cafe in Hawthorn. This is one of the many amazing dishes that you will find on the menu created by their very talented Head Chef Abe Pandley. And yes we’re already planning going back for seconds on the weekend! 👌😍💯

Strawberry Overnight Oats 🍓 🍯
½ Cup Oats
1 Tbsp Chia Seeds
½ Tsp Vanilla Extract
½-1 Tsp Raw Organic Honey
¾ Cup Almond, Coconut, or Cow’s Milk
¼ Cup Strawberries, sliced
1. Mix oats and chia seeds together in a mason jar.
2.Add vanilla, honey, and choice of milk and stir together.
3. Next, add in sliced strawberries, mix well so that all ingredients are covered with the milk.
4. Place lid on jar and put in the refrigerator for at overnight.
Stir and Enjoy! 💕😋

Autumnal breakfasts are very quickly making their way into my morning routine. I am loving adding courgettes into my oats at the moment and topping it with fresh fruit, popped quinoa and hemp seeds. It’s the perfect combination. What are you topping your porridge with at the moment? 😉💕

Just look at that gooey goats cheese and yolk of dreams! & its not a banquet without sweet to balance the savoury right.. the French toast was so light & airy & not too sweet! 🧡💛

When Mexi-Cali meets brunch, it’s a match made in heaven. It also happens to be Toast Tuesday so it’s a win-win all around, and this is not your basic betch toast.
