It was Mr.Voss, my psychical science teacher at #LockportHS
He told me that I am a very #smart girl and that I'd be very #successful .

I had a client mention today that he was having bad feelings about himself over some food choices he made over the weekend. Negative thought patterns can sabotage us and make us feel like we aren’t worthy or will never be able to succeed at something. I suggested first of all to let it go. Start new today. Start journaling. What happened? What led up to the purge? Look back a day or two. How has your sleep been? Are you tired? Stressed about something that happened? Do you have anxiety about an upcoming event? Why exactly are you upset with yourself? Were you bored? Were you over hungry? There’s usually a cause. By breaking down the moments before you broke down, you can start to brainstorm on how could change that direction. Maybe get a nap, have a healthy snack before you’re too hungry, get some exercise to relieve stress and anxiety. This same method can be applied to staying on track with any new habit. I also found it helpful to start a grateful journal. First thing in the morning: I’m grateful for... list ten things!! (Ex.
