Growing up I was taught to always try new things and never limit yourself. Why? Not because you can be anything you want to be. But it was this, the more you know how to do the more you have to fall back on during tough times. . When my car broke down, I knew how to fix certain things because my dad taught me. When I got hurt on my job and couldn't walk, I started crocheting to make money. The talent paid all my bills then some. When I had my daughter I did her hair to save money. After having cancer my hair fell out. As it grew I could not afford always to get my hair braided because I hated wigs but missed my long hair. I decided to learn to braid my own hair and sometimes that talent made me money.
Never stop learning because no matter what, a growing mind will never be broke mentally, spiritually or physically. .
