This week we decide to share one of our all time favorite recipes...🤤
Homegrown Granola!
.
This season ❄️is the perfect time for this recipe, with flavours of maple,cinnamon and clove, it's a crowd pleaser in any home.  We all know that our cereals at the grocery, no matter how "natural", are processed and filled with stuff we may not want🤭. But here's a healthy alternative.

This recipe yields a large batch (some times I half the recipe)
and GET THIS...IT LASTS FOR MONTHS! (not in this house though, *cough Colin *ahem) 🤣
.
Check it out, give it a try and ENJOY!!
-4 cups of oats
-3/4 c. of almonds chopped or sliced
-3/4 c walnuts chopped
-1.5 c hemp seeds
-3/4 c chia seeds
-1 cup raw pumpkin seeds
-1 cup raw sunflower seeds
-1 tbsp ground cinnamon
-1 tsp ground clove
-3/4 tsp all spice
-1 tsp ground or grated nutmeg
-2 cups of pure maple syrup
.
Preheat oven to 325.
Place all ingredients EXCEPT the maple syrup into a large bowl and mix thoroughly. Then stir in the syrup and coat everything well.
Spread the mixture onto two large baking sheets (lined with parchment paper) and slowly roast in the oven until golden brown. I usually take it out and stir once or twice as needed.
The mixture should no longer be sticky and should feel mostly dry to the touch. Remove from the oven and allow to cool. Store in airtight containers. 
The granola can ve served with yogurt or kifir, chopped fruit.🍒🍇🍓🍌I use almond milk or even chia pudding sometimes (as shown here!)🥣

Life can throw us some curve balls, and when we try to force our plans, we end up losing focus and energy. 🙇🏼‍♂️🙇‍♀️This is where flexibility comes into play, we can still reach our goals when we learn how to bend and flow with life rather than paddling upstream against it!
