A mangled white brick road that twists and turns your mind 🙃 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
@aaronhaynes gazed into the last light of the night. Probably wondering how we were going to get our grandmas car outta here! Or if I do recall, maybe he wanted to get stuck and spend the night 🤔
Hiking further up to the third lake. There were so many beautiful flowers on these little green patches. Wish they were more visible, but I guess the rest of the scenery is too distracting. There were so many camping spots along these lakes too. Definitely will have to return for an overnight... maybe with a few more people because, you know 🐻
Can you believe that it’s only 86 days until I head to #china with the Mental Health Foundation to Tee the #greatwallofchina ?! It’s crazy how quickly it’s come around and now I have to start getting my visa and vaccinations sorted! Ahh 😱
I’ve had these @vasquefootwear hiking boots for coming on two years now. They are starting to wear and be on their way out, but I’ve realized just how much use I’ve gotten out of them. These things are what I trust on every hiking trip. That’s just about been hiking every single week, countless hours and miles in every season. Just like my feet, I couldn’t be more thankful for how far they’ve taken me, and the places they’ve allowed me to see.
Starting the final push for Katahdin!! 345 miles to go up and over the Presidential Range and Mount Washington. Stay tuned to see the boys finish this epic adventure!! #appalachiantrail#thetrek#trektheat
Did you know you don’t need to spend $$$$ on getting ready for Everest Base Camp trek? Because we only made our minds up about doing the trek just weeks before and we were travelling at the time, we hired loads of things like this fake north face jacket and sleeping bags for just $1 a day in Kathmandu. I love this photo with the shop assistants in the background!! 😂 There are thousands of trekking shops in Nepal selling fakes but there’s also a @thenorthface shop in Kathmandu and on the trek at the biggest town called Namche Bazar (3,000 metres above sea level). Find out more about what you need to take on this trek on my blog now (link in bio to read 👈🏻)
