It’s crazy how hard we can be on ourselves but how loving and kind we can be to our friends and family or even complete strangers. I’ve always had a hard time with body image and self confidence. I’m always looking at things I can improve on instead of looking at the positive changes I have already made. I took these two (and several other) pictures at the gym last night and found something wrong with every single one. My stomach didn’t look flat enough, my stance was weird, my butt didn’t look big enough, my arms looked too muscular, omg the list could go on and on. I changed how I was standing, stuck out my hips more and sucked my stomach in, in hopes to take a picture I would actually like. Ridiculous honestly🙈These thoughts completely took over my mind and workout and I left the gym feeling worst than when I went in. If I was looking at these pictures and they were of my best friend instead, I would be complimenting the hell out of her. All of those negative things I pointed out would be way more positive. Think about how much better you (totally speaking to myself right now) would feel if you thought about yourself the same way you think about your closest friends and family. You would probably feel on top of the world. Positive mindsets lead to positive outcomes. So here’s to putting a little...or a lot...more positivity into my own life.🌷 And you should do the same.❤️
The first pair of #boxinggloves I ever owned came from a mate of over 20yrs (ouch!) After a completely random conversation. We dont have a lot of money and I was happy to stink up my coachs gloves day in and day out but I wanted to buy my son his first pair. I ended up buying him the same gloves his coach uses but the happy suprise came to me in the mail with the note "try these" @hayabusa and I did just that! Theres nothing I dont love about these gloves and I know I will never own another pair which makes me appreciate these all the more.
