Crown Royal Bourbon Mash is about to become a Collector's Item. Wanna get in on it?
This week only, save $3, making it $27.99.
Come on in and grab a bottle. It's pretty tasty.
Was a good night last night ctfu, felt it waking up at 6:30 this morning though ctfu. That Bourbon Mash smooth as fuck, waaaayyyyyy better than regular Crown. #CrownRoyal#BourbonMash#Whiskey told my brother I'll drink liquor all day I just don't like beer lmao.
@crownroyal Bourbon Mash Canadian Whisky.
The short: bigger nose than taste but tasty and round with a Bourbon-like flavour.
The long: Pours a rich caramel colour with some mice legs.
Aroma has medium-strong notes of caramel, wood spice, vanilla, I would say floral rye spice, and hints of wet stone. Really nice.
With a drop of Water it gets more rye character. Floral, spice, and stone.
Taste is sweeter but mot as large as the nose. Mild caramel, vanilla, brown sugar, spicy rye, perhaps a touch of leather, and a soft finish.
With water I get more vanilla, and rye spices. Didn't get watered down too much but I wouldn't add too much water.

It was a special tasting day at @worldofwhisky_yyc...Stuart Brown, from @diageo, was onsite pouring all manner of whiskies!
From single malt Scotches to blends to Bourbons (and "Bourbonie" Canadians). 😁
Started off with the @thesingletonwhisky #Tailfire . An easy drinking single malt from the Speyside region. Not overly complex, it's friendly and is a nice gateway whisky for someone looking to experiment with malts.
Next were a pair from @crownroyal...the 25 year, orphan-cask #Entrapment and the #BourbonMash .
Unmistakably Crown products, the hallmark creamy sweetness runs as an undercurrent in both.
The Entrapment is certainly far more mature and it is a sophisticated pour. The price seems a little steep, but in terms of Crown's typical production levels, this is a rare bottle.
The Bourbon Mash smelled young, almost sapling green, next to its elder brethren. Lighter body than I would have liked, but it definitely fits the Bourbon flavour profile.
I was going to wrap things up on the @johnniewalker #RedRyeBarrel , which was a spicy, earthy take on a Scotch Blend, but I couldn't leave without trying the @lagavulinwhisky 12 year.
This was a treat!
A whopping 56.5% cask strength, this one snuck up on me. I didn't notice the high proof until I was a couple of sips into it.
The smoke wasn't particularly strong on the nose, but it was nicely balanced on the palate; floating in between the fruity and nutty flavours.
Round, heavy, and rich, with a bit of spiky aggression to wake you up. A real treat for anyone who enjoys a mid-complexity dram. Could have sat with that one for a while
But alas, I had to go about my day with nothing but the memory of fresh fruit by the campfire. Perhaps the perfect Scotch for the May Long Weekend, though...?
