The Bench! Captured at Boston Public Garden @bostonpublicgarden, Boston, Massachusetts. This was captured a while ago with my trusty old Canon 6D and my most used tele zoom Canon EF 70-300L at that time. Though this image is very simple, its one of my favorites. This image conveys the mood. The mood is vibrant, colorful evening right after sunset yet very quiet, tranquil. The calm, quiet is conveyed by emptiness of the bench. No one around to occupy this bench which otherwise would be contested by many to sit on during the day when you have ton of visitors. This image is also in a way a portrait of the bench itself. What if this bench were alive. What would it have to say. Would it be happy that its alone and has some quiet time OR would it not be happy as there is no more wanting it anymore at this time. © Sachin Sawe #bostonpublicgardens #bostonpublicgarden #boston #swanboatride #travel #thebench #bench #portraitofbench #colors #vibrant #thevibrance #mood #city #canon6d #6d #canon70300l #instadaily #instagood #photooftoday #photooftheday
My forever home ❤️ Sometimes it takes leaving to appreciate what you’ve left behind. By far one of the hardest of the many goodbyes I’ve had to say to this city over the years 💙💛
🌟Photo of the day🌟
Today's gorgeous photo comes from:
Stunning capture of Boston!
Mrs. Mallard with her eight ducklings named Jack, Kack, Lack, Mack, Nack, Ouack, Pack, and Quack. From the children’s book Make Way For Ducklings written and illustrated by Robert McCloskey. Another iconic Boston attraction.
Thanks to @leicastoreboston and @petehalvorsen for the photo walk. It was great to try out the Leica SL and the 24-90mm lens.
This weekend in Boston was something special. I don’t know about you, but I often find myself so focused on what’s next that I don’t take moments to enjoy the now. Boston pulled me right out of that. Enjoy the now. #LoveNotes
