Good morning! Day 18 of #fangirlinginjuly is #kissmarrykill and with this I always pick the Same marry. Percy Jackson of course! I need my real life Percy please! So Annabeth can keep Percy and I can have an exact replica in the real world lol. And then I would kiss Rhysand because omg he’s amazing! And for kill it my be a controversial kill, but I’m going to kill Alex Fierro not because of the gender thing at all I just didn’t like the character. She was my least favorite character in the series I don’t like her for Magnus either they’re kind of like my NOTP where percabeth is my OTP 💙. So yeah that’s my kiss, Marry, Kill lol. Should we do kiss, marry, cliff next time? Throwing someone off a cliff is much nicer than killing lol. 😂 so today is a short work day thank goodness and I’m planning on relaxing until then and hopefully watching some fairy tail when I get off lol. Also you guys! I’ve made a few templates with some friends! Look in my highlights called my templates for them! We did a hunger games one and a six of crows one and we’re planning on making more! I’ve been wanting to make templates for the longest time now! They’re really fun to make! 😁 please feel free to share and complete them!
QOTD: Who would you marry in the fictional world?

My summer reading (so far). As a teacher, summer is unquestionably my biggest reading season. I’ve read some for work, and some for pleasure. Some old and some new. I have a few more weeks until school starts so I may be able to add a few more to the stack. #bookstack#summerreads
Hello lovelies, and happy Wednesday! #TomeTopple ended last week, and both of us had fun and successful runs this round. Can't wait till the next round is here to knock out some more of our favorite and most anticipated tomes! Link to post in bio 📖
Happy mid-week! Work's been quite fun and enriching these past few days because we're hosting a summer conference for about 40 academics, and I get to sit in and listen. While most of what they discuss is beyond me and not even stuff I'm familiar with, it's an amazing experience to interact with all these professors, researchers, PhD candidates, etc. Kind of a reminder that learning never stops and that there's still so much I could do in tertiary education.
Reading progress hasn't been great, but at least I'm slowly getting through my TBR pile, and I can proudly say that I've finished more than half the once-unread books on my shelf.

📚Book Review: The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho📚
Language: English 📓
The Alchemist takes us on the journey with Santiago, an Andalusian shepherd boy who dreams about travelling around the globe in search of a treasure. He has a recurring dream that is interpreted by a Romani fortune-teller as a prophecy that says that the boy will discover a treasure at the Egyptian pyramids. In order to follow his dream, he starts his journey from his home to the markets of North Africa and then into the Egyptian desert. He encounters a lot of experiences from love to loss, gets deceived, earns money and learns different languages. He meets all kinds of people on his journey, he meets a king, a desert woman and an alchemist. Every person he meets adds to his life and give it a new view. He often finds himself in difficult situations. The journey takes us on an adventure and is full of valuable lessons.
I would highly recommend this book to people who are fond of Fiction/ Philosophy genre but if you are anyone like me who is not a fan of spirituality then this book may not be the best pick for you.
