What are your thoughts?!😀😀
The First Path to Power, be honest with yourself. It seems to be such a simple concept yet there are many ways we lie to ourselves:
-believe what others tell us about ourselves -focus on what someone has ‘done to us’ instead of our participation in it
-pretend to be what we think we have to be instead of living authentically -stay in situations we deep down know aren’t any good for us
✨ Name me ONE of your favourite female leads! (I’ll be asking this question often, so it’s okay if you have too many answers). One of the most admirable female leads I’ve read is Starr Carter. Her voice is so authentic, her spirit is so vulnerable, and her fears are SO REAL! She is a terrific protagonist & a wonderful role model for readers. I know I can’t stop talking about this book, but I love it so much! Xx

"The things we don't think about, are usually the ones that have made us who we are."
~ Geetika Saigal
"Finding Your G-Spot" is not a stereotypical self-help book that goes on and on about how to live our lives. It goes beyond and highlights how important it is to live a meaningful one. To be honest, I've always answered °what kind of life do you want to live?° with °a happy one.° Not that it's incorrect, but the author's take on how essential it is for both happiness and meaningfulness to ensue, gives life a purpose and that's when we hit its G-Spot.
The book is divided into four segments and each segment into further sub-segments. Each segment starts with a simple quote that gives us a rough idea on what we're about to explore. The language is extremely easy, and equally bold and titillating. Usually when I read self-help books, I find them instructional right from page one, but here, Saigal lets us delve in her life, understand who she is, and how she's become the human she is today. The only instructions in this book are the simple DIYs.
In conclusion, I usually avoid self-help genre, because I suck at practicing what is being preached. But Saigal's account is fearless and gutsy from the word...G! Go for it.
Thank you, @gstorytime for sending me a copy. 🤓 Best wishes for all your future endeavors.
#QOTD : Do you love reading self-help? Which one is your favorite. Let me know. 😊
Is it just me, or does June feel like its just flown by? Summer is crazy, right? I don't know what happened, but I am so behind on everything! Especially bookstagram. To make up for it, I have a special giveaway coming this week!🎉 More details on that later... 🌅
Around this time last year is when I really got deep into the bookstagram world. Soni guess you could say its my bookstaversary. This is a #repost of one of my very first attempts to showcase a book I love. My friend and sister-author @melabateman let me photograph her book and I think it turned out pretty good. 😊 If you think this cover is amazing, you should look inside. She actually illustrates scenes and enhances the reading experience. Its a heartfelt tale of time travel in the 18th century and accepting fate- with a dash of magic. 😉
How long have you been bookstagraming? 📚 (Either following or posting photos?) 🌅

Was liest ihr gerade? Seid ihr auch solche #booklover ?
Habt einen schönen Abend!
In “My Promised Land”, I can’t help but be incredibly amazed by the Moshav that was built in Israel to feed and provide for the many immigrants that arrived in Israel because of Hope. Look at this!!!!! 😍😍😍

Day Seventeen of #BGPHJuneChallenge2018 : #HappyFathersDay
In Windfall, I really appreciate Alice's uncle for being there with her for the rest of her journey❤️ And also a happy father's day to the worst/most evil father of all time, Valentine Morgenstern❤️
At this point in my journey, I’m my biggest obstacle. I feel that this book is not good enough and so many others deserve to be published more than me.
I’ve been grappling with this feeling for a long time and something is keeping it around. It could be the pressure, or it could be the people around me.
What I tell myself is no matter what happens, you’ll be where you’re meant to be. Like a book, each point in your plot will lead you to the end, but you have to make those choices as your protagonist. Doing nothing won’t change anything, and settling for mediocrity will never bring happiness.
Any advice for me and my constant self-doubt? Or for anyone reading who feels the same way too?
Just another post here 🌅🌅🌄🌄🌅🌄
Take some time and think about all the people in your life! All who have some influance on you and are going through life with you...
Their is your family, friends, colleagues and other random people you just meet.
Take some time to stay in touch and maybe just phone or visit some person you did not contact in a long time and see what happened to them!
Awesome things can happen!
I hope this inspires you for the day and I would love to hear your stories in the comments below! Thanks for reading until here and have an awesome week ahead 😀😀
