You know those Sundays in winter when you're heading home from the snow, and it feels like your whole body has seized up with shame, it's dark, you're probably hungover, you stink and you're wondering why you never developed self control?
Travelling today was like that. Like playing golf on a par 6, but your club is a leprosy arm with a live badger for a handle.
First proper snow, as we are walking with our bags down the side of a mountain, to wait an hour in the rain for a bus, to wait two hours in the cold for a train, to find the trains full, to get to Salzburg, two hour walk, to realize you don't know where your hostel is, to learn that ITS ON A FUCKING MOUNTAIN, AND YOU NEED TO GET AN ELEVATOR, INSIDE THE MOUNTAIN, TO GET THERE.
Where was that information, Booking.com?
We’re right opposite the gorgeous Fuego Lounge, which is always a godsend when you’re peckish in the morning! If you’re in the market for a relaxed breakfast or brunch then it’s our go-to spot. They also do tapas and have a great vegan menu to boot. Thank you so much to @alishaceit for this beautiful pic of @lounge.fuego pancake & bacon! #brekkie
@goldcliffgardencentre_lewes looking very festive today! We’ll be buying our tree this weekend to add a little seasonal cheer to the apartment. Looking forward to sharing some pics! ☺️ #christmasshoppjng#handmadechristmas
