Happy late Sunday bookish friends!!!
Day 23 of #PumpkinSpiceBooks : fave book trilogy.
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins! I love this trilogy so much, it shaped my path of loving the amazing world of reading, and I have never stopped reading ever since. This trilogy is so entertaining, and stunning, and amazing, and life-changing, it’ll leave you breathless once you finish the last book. No words from this limited space of caption can explain how much The Hunger Games means to me. I am so happy I read this awesome trilogy, and I am happy it made me love the great universe of reading.
Day 23 of #SeptBookstagram18 : flatlay.
You do not want to know how many shots I had to take in order to pick which one would be good enough to post for today’s challenge. Honestly, I still feel this shot is bad, but oh well 😐😕😢.
Anyways...Day 23 of #BooksinSept18 : what is a series you wish was longer?
This trilogy, The Hunger Games. The world is so interesting and lush with history of the grand and terrifying nation of Panem. I would love to see different points of view of the trilogy, but what I would really like to read about is Haymitch’s own Hunger Games of the Second Quarter Quell, and definitely the rise of Panem after being founded from the ashes of an environmentally-devastated North America. And OHHHH, I would be so psyched to journey through the First Rebellion and how it terrifyingly caused the Hunger Games. See? There’s so much to learn and read about in this amazing world, and I would love if Suzanne would write through these topics. 🙏
What’s your favorite book trilogy?
What series do you wish was longer?
Have you read The Hunger Games?
What did you think of it?
Do you wish the trilogy could expand beyond the main story?

"Kami menahan napas.
Bersama Komandan Farragut mereka menaiki kapal Abraham Lincoln menuju Samudera Pasifik. Bagaimana kisah petualangan mereka? Lanjut besok ya reviewnya 😊.

Synopsis- It took her a journey across the ocean to learn what she knew of love and fear and hate, but the essence of it came to her in an instant, as she succumbed to the churning black depths of the deep sea.” Coralline is a shy mermaid in the Atlantic Ocean whose idyllic life is ruined by an oil spill that gravely sickens her little brother. Desperate to save him, she embarks on a quest to find a legendary elixir.
She encounters a human man, Izar, who's left his life on land behind to find a cure for his dying father. He doesn’t tell her that his family runs Ocean Dominion, an enemy corporation whose ships plunder her waters daily.
Fate pushes the two of them together, even though their worlds are at odds. Accompanied by a colorful troupe of animals, Coralline and Izar travel through coral reefs and seabed cities, trailed by murderous adversaries and warring ships. Their secrets threaten to tear them apart, while a growing attraction adds to the danger. Ultimately, each of them faces an impossible choice. Should Coralline remain with the world she knows, including her fiancé, or should she relinquish everything for a stranger who might betray her? And Izar holds a secret of his own—one that might cause him to lose Coralline forever.

But when Rufus Mayes appears, Halloween looks to go haywire. But Rufus vows not to bother Pepper. Instead, he needs her.⠀
He’s promised a buyer one of Magnolia Cove’s sacred objects, a watch that manipulates time. But the object is too volatile to sell. Rufus needs Pepper’s help to trade a decoy.⠀
When the hand-off goes terribly wrong and the buyer winds up dead, it looks like a murderer is loose in Magnolia Cove.⠀
As if that wasn’t bad enough, the watch breaks and Pepper and her family find themselves forced to relive Halloween everyday. Even worse, the murderer is still loose and wreaking havoc in a town that’s already in plunged into chaos.⠀
Can Pepper find the murderer or will she become the next victim? More importantly, can she free Magnolia Cove from eternal Halloween, or will the town be forced to relive the same day forever?⠀
When Alexa Monroe agreed to be Drew Nichols’ date to his ex-girlfriend’s wedding, moments after meeting him in an elevator, she had no idea her love life would be turned upside down. Alexa must decide to follow her heart or risk being just another name on Drew’s long list of past lovers. 🔺🔻🔺🔻🔺🔻🔺🔻🔺
I really enjoyed this book after I got through the first 100 or so pages. I felt the book became more genuine after learning about the characters past their surface relationships. Have you read The Wedding Date yet?
