Since the lighting outside in the evening isn’t great, and I didn’t get a chance to record the exercise this morning I took it indoors. I opted for shoulder taps with an added push-up jack. Super hard for me, and not really smooth, but a good way to spice up shoulder taps if you want to make it a bit challenging.

#TrainingTipTuesdayMM : Mind Your Dogmas
Navigating through the information in the fields of training and gaining can be sort of like walking through a minefield. One wrong move and you can end up with some serious problems. It’s VERY important that you are mindful of the information you internalize and the dogmas you create or you could end up using subpar tools. That happened to me in the past when it came to aerobic training
I learned from a culture where aerobic work (doing long distance cardio) was thought to be VERY detrimental to your gains. Just THINKING about aerobic training would make you small, weak, fat (not sure how you get small AND FAT) and would reduce your testosterone levels to that of a school girl. 😂
I kept this mentality for a long time until eventually, I learned better and swapped to using aerobic work to not only help me recover, but to build an “aerobic base” which would hopefully improve my health AND performance.
Since implementing aerobic work, I’ve experienced better sleep, better recovery between workouts, I can get more work done during my training schedules (I track my volume and it has massively trended upward), I have no aches or pains, I have better endurance when doing martial arts, etc
Even outside of training, my mental health and outlook are better, my resting heart rate is lower, I don’t get angry as quickly, and more!
Those are things I would have likely missed if I had skipped aerobic training! So make sure you mind your dogmas and get your aerobics in so you can get on the Gain Train! And tag a friend who needs to hear aerobic work can help them gain!
The real glow is when you stop waiting to turn into some perfect version of yourself and consciously enjoy being who you are in the present. . 💆♂️
Lately I’ve been off my game, can you tell ? 🤔
Haven’t been having no motivation to work out in recent weeks (almost 3 months) 😩.
Ever since i was young i never wanted to be out of shape to the point where i cant play with my kids (future reference) or have a hard time moving around or just getting up out of bed 🛏 .
I’m 31 now started working out lifting weights when i was around 15-16 yrs old. Fitness has been something that always came naturally to me, i can’t say the same lately.
I am currently at 150 no matter how strong i look or skinny this seems to be my ideal weight 🤷♂️
UGH - compression (low abs to thighs) is the hardest thing for me in terms of flexibility and mobility. This drill - an ottoman works great for it - helps me feel how much strength I need in my hip flexors + core to lift and lower with control. You can try it with feet elevated on blocks, too!

Je m'étais preparé un atelier et un gars viens s asseoir dessus sans pression 😂 j ai pas dis "sans respect" j ai dis "sans pression" saisi la nuances : il ne m avait pas vu entrain de paramètrer ma camera ☺

Du coup la premiere sommation se fait toujours gentillement. Si par contre je m apperçoit que tu me casse les couilles délibérément... la derniere qui s est livré à l exercice j ai planté notre cérémonie de mariage 😂🤣 Donc meme sous mes air de furieux :

Une zone de confort ça peut aussi etre un contexte geographique. 👌🏾 Le confort d'une salle... haaa... c'est mignon : j suis du genre à me tabasser dehors meme en pleine nuit. Et pendant que certains se cherches des raisons à leurs échecs, je cherche des moyens de les tabasser à sec ☻
Cette nuit j'ai déverouillé de sales bestioles, jsen connais qui en perdrons le sommeil en meme temp que leurs ames 🙌🏾🐲🐉
