Shoutout to my #strongaf client Sarah.
She just finished her second 12 week transformation with a massive deadlift of 65kg...which she had never done before 😱
Let me put into perspective how much of a big deal this is: ❌ For a good 12 months, she was never able to get past 60kg.
❌ She went through many challenging situations through this transformation but never missed one session.
❌ There were days where she could've called me and said 'nope, not today.'
❌ She had a failed attempt right before this one. ⚠️ She could've talked and cried her way out of not doing it again, but she told herself she was going to do it. And that's exactly what she did ⚠️ Lifting weights isn't only about moving a weight up and down, it opens up a window of opportunity to show you who you really are and what you are capable of 💪

A Calorie deficit will ALWAYS be the main driver of fat loss, but it shouldn’t mean you are depriving your body of nutrients.
Cramming low nutrient dense food in to your calories and leaving out quality food will in time no doubt lead to nutrient deficiencies which can lead to:
❌Poor Gut Health
❌Poor Health Markers
So if you can’t digest and absorb calories efficiently because your metabolism and digestive system isn’t working properly because you have messed up your cells and receptors within your body, then “calories in vs calories out” becomes slightly flawed.
Losing fat and prioritizing health can be two separate things, but you can lose fat both ways - eating what you want and staying within your calories or eating to maximize health while staying within your calories. However no doubt if YOU prioritize health, you will get much BETTER fat loss results as your body will work with you. Otherwise there will come a point where your systems will be working against you.
I don’t know about you, but if I was losing fat and there was a way I could largely IMPROVE my results and feel great while doing so - I would do it, wouldn’t you?
