For me, Personal training isn’t just about how the client looks. Anyone can crash diet, cut out all “bad” food and drink, lose a load of body fat within 6 weeks and have a limited social life. Is this enjoyable or sustainable? Is it chuff. Some clients simply don’t want to look shredded like some PTs think they should. They just want to look better, feel better and improve! My clients amazing results come as a product of a better, happier and healthier lifestyle that can last 💯 They all love their training (hate me for an hour in the gym) and enjoy making better dietary choices and being able to have bits of what they like/ “bad” food every week whilst still making weekly progress.

I took me 23 years to understand I will never look like the petite women that I’m surrounded by every day. I am just not built that way. I have boobs, I have a butt, and I have hips that just aren’t going anywhere because you can’t change bone structure. But you know what? That’s okay! I’m never going to look that those women because I’m going to look like me, and I love that. For every person wishing they looked like someone else I just want to give you a hug and tell you how truly beautiful you are. Don’t strive to look like the girls you see on social media or in the movies, strive to feel loved in your own skin.
I posted the photo on the right the other day and I could have easily done a little touch up here or there, something that maybe you might not have even noticed. But that’s exactly the thing that is wrong with retouching and social media: it’s that were shown these “picture perfect“ images where sometimes it’s so unnoticeable we can’t tell there has been retouching.
So what happens is we get this false idea in our head of what a natural healthy body looks like and we believe there is something wrong with our bodies.
But cellulite, curves, rolls, lumps and bumps; these are totally natural‼️ And they don’t make you ugly, worthless or “imperfect”. These things simply make us human beings with bodies. So I continue to choose to post real photos of what my real natural , strong capable human body looks like. Because having a little bit of cellulite in certain lighting, or not being that perfect “sample size”, it doesn’t take away from the strong athlete I am , the capable woman I am or the healthy woman I am.
And so I post this as just a reminder that if you’re looking at social media today and you keep looking at “picture perfect” images and wondering why you don’t look like this or that or thinking you’re not beautiful because you don’t look like that, just know that most of it is not real and our bodies are exactly what they are supposed to look like. YOU are worthy and beautiful and there is HEALTH and BEAUTY at so many sizes!! 💗💗💗💗 #healthateverysize#selflove#bodylove

I am who I am today because I hated the way I looked. The battle of looking at your self daily, thinking how can your own children love you, When you don’t even love yourself!? How can they be happy, when your not happy?..Before I had my babies I was slim but not fit and healthy.
I mean I hated my body, you just can’t win.. So I thought anyway, im most definitely winning now!! I wanted to love my life and be happy for not only me but my little boys.
I wanted to be the best role model not just for me but for them too!
After stacking on 30kg in my pregnancies and loosing 37kg, I am healthier both in my mind and body! I am someone who loves the gym and loves the way it makes me feel and not only that I love the person I have become and the lifestyle changes I will forever make💕
