{Proud Moment} ~ week 1 completed! I’m kinda loving this 4 day a week gig. Who wouldn’t?!Gives me the opportunity to spend more time in the pool with the kids, try other activities on rest days, and get that laundry done ✅

My main goal here is to be consistent because you all know that’s my BIGGEST problem. But, 4 days a week, 30-40 minutes each is totally doable! So there is plenty of time to do all of the fun summer things 🏖 🏊‍♀️ !!! What fun summer activities have you been doing so I can add to my list?

Qué vale que tengo que hacer comida libre, pero lo que me molesta es que la he hecho más por emociones que por hambre. Porque justo esta mañana le he dicho a mi madre "mira, esta semana no tengo tantas ganas de saltarme la dieta". One of the most functional things you can do is pick up weight and carry it. 
Think about how many times/things you carry throughout your day. It can range from grocery bags, a suitcase, furniture, and just everyday things. You are constantly carrying something! So why not train for it? 
The farmer walk does not just have to be for functional training. I also use it as a finish when doing arms. While in a carry your biceps,triceps, forarms, and shoulders are in full contraction. 
If you havent added some type of carry in your workout program I would start. You can do a varaition everyday!

One fave criticism of bored, 40-year old men (living in their mom’s basement and trolling peeps on the internet 🤡) is that weight doesn’t matter. Apparently the singular measure that proves my worth as a coach 🤣 is my body fat percentage, and I’m not lean enough to pass their expert test. 🤷🏻‍♀️
.
I have INTENTIONALLY avoided a lot of different measurements of physical transformation because of my past history with body dysmorphia + disordered eating. 🙈 I wanted to focus on measures such as photos, 📷 strength gained, energy level, overall confidence, stamina, etc.
.
But ever since doing our nutrition-only program, 🍎 I’ve really repaired my relationship with the scale 🙏🏻 and felt ready to take on some additional measures of progress throughout these next 60 days!!
.
Needless to say, I was VERY happy with my results!! My BMI is 22.9 (healthy) and my body fat percentage is 24% (considered “fit” for a woman). I used to obsessively measure my body fat % (like everything else back in my BD days 💔) and I’d hang around 28-30%!! To think I have WAY lower body fat AND way less pressure around my nutrition + fitness now... 🙏🏻

So beyond grateful that I now see numbers for what they are (TOOLS to help us FEEL our best) instead of measures of my self-worth like I used to. 👎🏻

Now if only the trolls could catch up... 🤣💕

I remember when I first started working out, I was worries about lifting heavy weights (I had two 5 pounders and one 8!) because I didn't want to get bulky like the women body builders I had seen...
.
Little did I know, that the workouts they do, the weights the lift, and the diets they follow are SO MUCH more than what I do even on my best days.
.
I didn't realise that lifting heavier weights (15s and 25s) just get you super lean muscles that literally make you feel amazing in EVERYTHING!
.
My biceps might look extra big and strong when I flex sometimes, but I know that unless I start training for hours more my little frame will never see bulky muscles.

Le sport est devenu pour moi un réel exutoire, une manière de faire le vide après une grosse journée, un moyen de décompresser mais aussi d'évoluer petit à petit. 
On y retrouve aussi les potes qu'on peux se faire au détour d'un exercice, d'un échange sur la musculation, d'un conseil et c'est ça qui fait la beauté de ce sport. Le partage est très important, chacun ses petites astuces et parfois ce n'est peut être rien mais ça peut tout changer !

Dziewczyny z @wysokiemarzenia niebawem rozpoczną swoją wyprawę na Kaukaz na granicy Rosji i Gruzji 👍🏔 Planem jest zdobycie Kazbek 5033.8 m n.p.m. i Elbrus 5642 m n.p.m, należy jednak zaznaczyć że Kazbek pomimo że niższy jest znacznie trudniejszy że względy na nachylenie stoków nawet do 60 stopni 😱 Pewnie sądzicie że trzeba się bać o dziewczyny, nic bardziej mylnego... Gabrysia jest moja podopieczna od kilku dobrych lat i wiem że da sobie radę, podobnie Karolina odwala kawał dobrej roboty na przygotowaniach 😈

When I heard about this new program where you only had to workout 4 times a week for only 35 minutes, and a “cheat day” was involved, I’m not gonna lie…I was like, “I currently workout 6 days a week for an hour, I’m not sure how this will really work for me”. But like all the test groups I have been through, I KNOW to trust the process. .
Just completed my 4th and final workout for the week and I can SEE why this is so effective! .
I love this #lifebalance approach and am happier and more motivated than ever!  Now I am ready to enjoy a weekend with friends, indulge in a couple drinks 🍷 and treats 🍰 with ZERO guilt. .
I know a lot of you are excited to be a part of our next online group that starts in August and you should be!  But don’t wait for it to start your journey.  Start NOW so you can be ready to do this together for 8 weeks! .
