My first time trying the Fat Head Dough and I was surprised how easy it is to make and how tasty it is 😋 although I did find that Stevia leaves a weird after taste that’s not for us. I read so many blogs of people swearing by it but it was not the case for us. We’re trying Erythritol from now on. Trying to find a healthy substitute for sugar that cooks, bakes, measures and tastes close to sugar is difficult and not cheap might I say. We paid $9 for a pound of Erythritol versus Stevia that’s much cheaper but tastes like a joyless life 😅 prefer to cut out sweets completely than to have Stevia as a replacement. It’s our opinion I know there’s different strokes for different folks. I’m just trying really hard to satisfy my husband’s sweet tooth and don’t want him to feel like he’s missing out on yummy desserts just because he has diabetes. I’m no master chef but I’m definitely learning so much about our bodies and how everything you buy cheap at the store is meant to get you sick. Eating healthy is expensive but not as much when your health is at risk. Eating organic and low carbs is so much cheaper than hospital bills. Think about that. I used to say maybe if I was skinnier then... I've been body conscious my whole life.. from being too skinny to being too big.. it was always something. I did everything I could to try to fit that perfect body ideal. In the last 4/5 years I've gained a lot of weight after I tried to lose my weight by throwing up after every meal... Depression is something I have experienced much throughout my own life, and working through my sadness verbally has never helped me much. Instead, I have naturally turned to body-conscious practices such as running, going to the gym, hiking, cycling, pilates and yoga. YOGA has helped me tremendously in learning how to examine the messages my body is sending me. It has taught me that our bodies are very wise and capable of self-healing. I intuitively know that an underlying message awaits to be revealed when I experience any imbalance - whether it be physical, mental, or emotional - it is all interconnected. .
