While it was a difficult weekend, my family and I took comfort going through my grandmothers house and to my surprise found all these gorgeous photos of my mother I haven’t see before. Not to mention, a #bluejay visited me outside my hotel window today #familyphotography#familyisforever#early90s
This morning visitor made my day. It’s only the second time I’ve seen a blue jay out here. Its obnoxious call had me up and in front of the window before my garb had advanced beyond boxer shorts, but thankfully, for their sake, none of my human neighbors seemed up and about yet.
CHAPTER ONE: -Honey I'm home.
-Hi, sweetheart. You have to close your eyes. Please just stay right up there, do not come down here and close your eyes.
-Why do I have to close my eyes? What's going on?
-Because it's a surprise, please sweetheart.
-Did you have a good day, Mr. Henderson?
-Well, there's a lot to talk about. How was your day Mrs. Henderson?
-I have something very exciting to tell you as well.
-Wow, that sounds like we should have dinner and talk about your day. // #photo#photography#girl#girlfriend#love#home#sideboard#climbing#pink#charity#bluejay // #project by me: #follow#abuelamosaic
REMINDER: The #Pennington#BlueJay 5K & #Hero Mile is this morning. Thank you to all of the sponsors & participates for honoring Officer Philip Michael Pennington & supporting the PWC Survivors Fund. We are grateful to everyone who is a part of this & wish the runners a very safe #race !
The Blue Jay frequently mimics the calls of hawks, especially the Red-shouldered Hawk. These calls may provide information to other jays that a hawk is around, or may be used to deceive other species into believing a hawk is present. -AllAboutBirds.org
