This was my first time weaving on a handloom. It was hectic, tedious but it was a fun class. The experience was wonderful and I learnt a lot about color pallettes, material etc. I tried my hand at it and then decided that it was not for me 😅. So I have this as a souvenir from the class "Rug making"
Third to the last 🥉 Used two words this time. Fifteenth for Huevember 2018: bluegreen T for 'tinaob, tinunaw' which is 'to turn upside down' 🙃 and 'to melt'🌡️Used Copic BG53 for this. Bonus mini-poem at the bottom, made of other words beginning with T that I came across while looking for inspiration in making this one. Last one for bluegreen, just green left to do. Last two Filipino words written in baybayin in the next 2 posts!
Turkesang tisay, puso'y pinatibay,
ng di nagtatapos na pagtalaghay,
Nang isang araw, tinaob ang mundo,
Ang katimyasang nadama, di matanto, di matago,
Hindi nalalabanan o natatakasan ang tadhana,
Pusong bato, ngayo'y tunaw na,
Natuto muli siyang magtiwala.
(Translation: Turquoise lady, heart hardened by enduring pain with no end,
One day, has her world overturned,
Purity of emotions she can't understand, can't hide,
Your destiny cannot be fought, nor escaped,
Heart of stone, has now melted,
She learned once again how to trust.)
