I’m going to miss this team... you are all such amazing humans... I’m so grateful to have crossed paths with such powerful women. 💛💛 Oh, and you too, Geno. We couldn’t have done it without you.
Another week has gone. First week of @capetownhairstylistsa not by choice - but hey there are far worse things in the world than my account being disabled by @instagram 🤷🏼♀️ 1,5 weeks of work to go until Xmas ✂️🎄 And something very exciting is launching early next week! Let’s do this 🙌🏻💛
I upgraded my pj game. Truth be told...I was still rocking maternity & nursing pjs even though the babes is almost one. Sometimes I lived on the edge and threw on one of @scott.bucher’s shirts.
Since there is a good chance I’ll still be in pjs if you show up unannounced in the morning, I figured I might as well wear cute ones!
Last year about this time I was super pregnant and missed the memo from the hubs that our water softener company was sending someone over with salt. So...when the doorbell rang just before 8, I answered it in some Christmas pjs that barely covered by tummy, a baby in just a diaper in my arms and a pretty awesome half up slept in ponytail & glasses. To my surprise it was a guy I had gone on one date with YEARS ago. I can laugh now...not so much at the time. The hubs found it very humorous though.
Then a few months ago, another company was an hour early and I sat there in my pjs nursing a baby when the knock came. I looked up towards the full window screen door and realized I was in pjs with an attached baby 🤦🏼♀️. There was no chance I could just pretend we weren’t home at that point 😂
So...now there’s a good chance I’ll at least look partially put together in cute pjs should we have any more random early visitors! They are so cozy you may find me in them every day now!
You know whats HARD for me. . . NOT WORKING🤦🏼♀️
It’s my birthday. Here I am. On Instagram. But wait, before you judge me, hear me out!
I LOVE my job. It’s NOT work to me. I remember when I was nursing, I would count down the days, hours, & minutes before my “next shift”. I was anxious, irritable, unhappy & miserable. It was “work”, a JOB to me. What I do now, isn’t like that. At all.
I FINALLY get to do what I love. Unapologetically. I’m 110% PASSIONATE about my work, & so it doesn’t feel like “work” to me. It’s actually VERY challenging for me to “turn it off”. But when you LOVE what you do, thats what it feels like.
I legit LOVE Instagram
I love branding, marketing, & sales
I love the power of social media
& I love helping YOU turn your dreams into a reality by scaling your biz right here on the gram.
I LOVE what I do. I’m beyond grateful, beyond blessed to live out my dreams & truly be passionate about my work. Shoutout to this guy @brood_j my handsome hubby for loving me regardless of my “creative genius” side that legit NEVER SHUTS OFF.
Goodbye to counting down the days till work with DREAD. Hello to counting down the days till work with EXCITEMENT. Do you have a hard time shutting work OFF? Lemme know below!👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼
My house may not look like this right now but I’m still thankful.
Thankful for my family that is safe and healthy. .
Thankful for this little girl.
Thankful for a job that even though I’m uprooted from my house and computer I can still get work done. What will help me start being able to fix our dream house. .
Thankful for that job that gave me the tools to take on this next chapter in our life. What will inspire me, make me better, and face these fears head on.
If I never took a chance on that job- I don’t know where we would be now. .
Why not take that chance? #linkinbio
