Omg look I didn’t have a sweet potato today😱😱😱. I actually surprised I didn’t have one today. The reason why is because I was actually craving some hummus pasta. I don’t get to eat pasta as much as I usted to but I’m not really complaining. Anyway for today I had hummus pasta with a Japanese eggplant, tofu, bell pepper, peas, and carrots with nooch on the side. I was going to add spinach but I ran out at the last minute which I hate when it happens😭😭😭😭. Beside that how was shout day so far.
Not gonna lie, my rest day yesterday really threw me. Ate a calzone as my “cheat meal” and felt like total 🤢🤢💩 I hate that term because I don’t find it cheating, just allowing myself room to enjoy myself and live my life - which honestly makes it EASIER for me to stick to my workouts and eat nutritious food the rest of the time. I spent WAYYYY too much of my life restricting and viewing certain foods as “bad”/“things that make you fat” to put a negative label on anything 🙅🏻♀️🙅🏻♀️ but I will say sometimes I forget how bad certain things make me feel when I eat them hahaha 🙈 Gonna have to look up a healthier hack for that one to avoid the stomach ache next time 🤔
Anyways, back at it today with chest/tris 💪🏽 Love feeling stronger every day with this program and watching my noodle arms gain some shape 🍝😂

Just finished "Thigh Trimdown" for Saturday =) I don't know why, but I decided to go all purple! Sports bra, top, and my @popflex_active Dark Bloom shorts!
I'm gonna head back to my hometown soon to see my parents and have dinner with them. I decided that I'm not gonna do too much work/prepping for next week. Except meal plan and looking at grocery flyers sales. I really need to finish reading my book too before it's due at the library too, and I doubt I can renew it.

🍴Nutrition isn’t that different. Feeding yourself whole, nutritious foods is hard work. There are no shortcuts. It requires spending precious time, and trial and error to understand what your body both enjoys and needs and what that balance looks like for you.
👌🏼But there are some things you can do to speed up the process of finding what works for you:
👉🏼Don’t give up your favorite foods. Rather, find ways to recreate your favorite foods with healthier, whole ingredients. Use Google!
👉🏼Set process goals such as eating more protein or to eat 2 servings of vegetables a day for ex. Process goals are very effective.
👉🏼Hire a coach who understands you and your goals.
👉🏼Listen and be open to others’ advice but don’t let it be the end all be all—let your body and yourself be the judge of the fads out there.
👉🏼Learn how to cook simple meals, how to meal prep, and how to properly stock your fridge.
👉🏼Examine your values and ask yourself what’s coming up for you when you think about your nutrition. Why is it important or not important to you to eat healthy? This is a tough q. Most people will push tougher questions out of their mind. But asking yourself honestly what keeps you from reaching your health goals will bring you closer to them💕.
