Day 6. Welp. I’m boated AF because of my period. And it sucks. And I feel like a cow 🐄. But. I made a bomb turkey sandwich and took some grapes, granola bar and lots of water with some @truelemon packets for flavor because I sat in a gym most of the day for the first high school wrestling tournament of the season. I did good. I DID NOT hit the concession stand even though the nachos and cheese 🧀 looked like they were screaming my name. I told them to shut up. 😂 I did not work out today. Rest day. Although I felt bloated and blah, I put on my new high line shirt from @piphanystyle from my girl @deannafromindiana and felt FABULOUS. Fixed my hair and slapped on some makeup and boom bloated pretty 🤣😘 Hope everyone had a happy Saturday! I'm still processing these visits but I'm READY to move forward with my care again.

Today was a hard day, not gonna lie. Crohns is flaring, I've been bloated AF all day, I pooped 🔥 6 times, and I found out I might have remicade induced anemia 🤬 I could have let that stop me. In fact, that HAS stopped me in the past. But I put my excuses aside for 20 mins and did the elliptical, because I have GOALS.
Coming down from some major IBS bloating🤢, but my pants are getting a tad loose. Maybe I’ve stretched them out 🤷🏼♀️Maybe my 4 day/week workouts + no post-dinner snacking are working?⠀
Either way, I’m feeling good, both inside and out. And I’m LOVING the support I’m getting in my virtual bootcamp right now! You gals are killin it!👯♀️⠀

After having a fever on Saturday & eating like a dang horse this weekend after feeling better, I’m SO feeling it today. #BLOATEDAF & feeling like a slug but I got it done.
I’ve made nutrition excuses since having Liam and that’s legit my biggest struggle. Too tired. Not enough time. Too tired. The same excuses playing in my head over and over and I’m DONE.
I need to reel it in not only for myself to get my dang energy back but to get my sanity back. Starting today I’m back to my simple meal plan, pushing for 5 days of activity per week and prepping for a 3 day detox the Monday after Thanksgiving. I’m going into this holiday with a plan and it starts today!

I actually used to CRAVE exercise. I’ve been so out of a routine that I honestly don’t feel that way at all anymore so it is hard as hell to motivate. But I’m TRYING!! I know how good my MIND and BODY can FEEL 🤗

Like I always say, this is a journey. I am doing this for my health. I am doing this to live longer. Abs will be awesome, but some mysterious bloat isn’t going to derail me. Once you find your WHY you’ll never quit on yourself again. .

Life is meant to be LIVED, and sometimes that means overindulging (especially around the Holidays). But you know what? That’s okay! It’s called being human!
Today I opted for my wholefood gummies as candy🍬🍫🍭for Halloween, but catch me around Christmas... that’s my day to INDULGE. This is what it looks like when you “forget” everything you’ve learned and do bare minimum in both workouts and nutrition🤦🏽♀️ I’m human! Life gets busy, you start “treating” yourself one thing at a time and before you know it, you’re back to eating wonder bread, white pasta, gummy bears and loads of fake meat😳🙈
I’m not proud, BUT I also know I’ve got a whole group of ladies (ehemmmm, I’d love some testosterone in the group!) that are ready to put themselves first and kick these habits BEFORE the holidays with me! Simple rules for this one! 👌🏽
1. Be positive! Build each other up and encourage everyone on their journey✌🏼
2. Keep it simple! With the holidays coming, it’s so easy to get lost in the holiday parties, cookie baking and of course, the caroling!☝🏼
3. Be prepared! The BEST way to ensure success is to be ready for the last minute, “mom (or dad), I need to bring _____, to school tomorrow.” Or the last minute get together with high school friends back in town or the after work Christmas shopping! It’s a busy season, so this is key!💁🏽♀️

Exactly one year ago today I stopped falling in love with Michael.
One year ago, on this day, I stood in front of Michael, dani-lynne + God and declared that I was not FALLING in love with him but that I had in fact WALKED into love with him. That I had seen into his soul & had made the decision to love him for the amazing man that he is & the even more amazing man that he strives to be.
