I usually like to end my day with one of these. Smoothie bowls are filling but not to heavy, so if ever I feel hungry in the evening I tend to make one of these around 6/7pm. I try to never eat anything after 8pm to allow my digestive system those hours to digest, utilise, absorb and then eliminate in time for when I rise the next morning. “It’s really out of my control.
The way you feel is not my problem.
I don’t wanna see you go—but I don’t have time to solve this.” A couple of days ago I posted this on my story but I wanted to share it on my page as well in case anyone who needs to hear this, missed it. This song is called “The Pressure”. I love these lyrics so much because it resonates with me so well. How many times have you had to just let go of someone, something or a situation, because you realized it’s out of your control and it’s not your problem. Or maybe you haven’t and this very post is confirmation that you need to. You’ve been tossing the idea around in your head but you have taken no action. If you instantly thought of someone or a conflict upon reading this, then the universe is speaking to you. It’s calling you out. Make that move. I have had this dilemma countless times in my life. These lyrics to me represent power. Power in realizing you don’t owe everyone and everything your time. You just don’t. But there’s power in knowing you’d hate to release someone/something but you know you’re going to preserver regardless. I hope you find the power to let go of whatever it is that is pulling at your energy. Don’t let it be your problem. Don’t feel obligated to solve it. The man/woman that’s been stressing you more than they’ve been uplifting you. The battle in your mind you keep having with yourself. The hair that won’t cooperate 😂🤷🏽♀️ Whatever it is, you don’t have to put up with it. You’re only going to go as far as you allow yourself to. You are not your situation. What are you ready to let go of that is out of your control and no longer serving you purpose?

Chickpea and potato curry and asparagus tonight for dinner. Sky picked out the asparagus. I think she has a pretty good eye for picking out produce. With that appetite, she better be good at something 😩 and I had to improvise and add some kidney beans to my curry bc I thought I had hella chickpeas in the cupboard. Turns out I had hella kidney beans 🤦🏾♀️😂 It was still good tho 👌🏾 What y’all had for dinner? 🌱

so pissed that I got no pictures from Boomtown but that shows I was having a bloody amazing time. So good to get out of London. Festival blues is real rn.
First time in YEARS that I've been genuinely happy and that's down to good vibes, being around amazing people and just feeling free. As cringe as it sounds, I had an epiphany probably cos I was high lmao but I just deeped that I've actually wasted so much time, effort, tears and energy over shit people. I don't need that anymore. Anyone that tries me from now on is getting decked into oblivion. Anyways, Boomtown 2019 here I come ✌🏾

AVOCADO TOAST! I made some delicious avocado toast. On one slice of sourdough bread, I added everything but the bagel seasoning from @traderjoes, Chia seeds and yellow cherry tomatoes. On the other slice, I added onions, red cabbage, pumpkin seeds, golden beets, Chia seeds and everything but the bagel seasoning. Yum!! - Malinda 🥑 ❤️🥑❤️#avocadotoast#avocadolove
