Look as soooooon as the temperature drops its chili time in Texas lol the aisle for the chili was crazy low! I made ground turkey and bacon chili!!! Sooooo good I didn’t use any pre made packaging Because the carbs were pretty high! I let it simmer for like 3hrs and it was perfection! Items used, chili powder, garlic, pink salt, black pepper, serrano peppers, chicken stock, and everything else you pretty much see lol who’s in the mood for chili 👀 #moesoketo
Tbt! So it’s no secret that I have been on my weight loss journey for almost a year now . The first picture was January of this year where I weighed 230 pounds. It wasn’t until I took this picture where I truly saw how unhealthy I was . So I decided to make a lifestyle change . With strict dieting and working out now I am 175 pounds .I was able to loose 55 pounds and 60 inches . I want to encourage anyone reading this that you can loose the weight as long as you are dedicated and consistent . I never thought that I would be this small however I did not allow the fear of the unknown to stop me from conquering this goal . Now don’t get me wrong my fitness journey doesn’t stop here , this is a lifetime journey . #tbt 2012 I launched T2 Fitness Apparel, a fitness lifestyle clothing brand. At the time (and even still), I noticed a gap in the fitness clothing industry where fitness clothing could transition seamlessly to cute, chic everyday wear. Clothes wore manufactured in New York and I loved that the sizing and the concept for the garments were based on the size of my body (someone who is curvy). Also, styles were actually constructed as apart of a true clothing line; not someone else’s clothes line and I just slapped my logo or a quote on it and called it T2 Fitness. The care label, styles, structure, logo label, fabric, and threading were all picked out by me and collaboratively produced with seamstresses and a production company in NY.
________ I was going back and forth to NY for 2 straight years, several times a year...in addition to leading personal training and Bootcamps. It was insane lol! Funds ran out for this venture so I had to stop the line, indefinitely. I always feel that what you wear can have a strong impact on your feelings and actions towards working out (and consistently working out). And y’all know I love a killer legging 💁🏾♀️ so this was the perfect venture for me; it was so fashion forward at the time, people LOVED the clothes!! _______

Cardio is awesome & very beneficial to the body, however a BIG benefit that weight training has over cardio training is that it will allow you to completely RESHAPE your body. Cardio will generally help you lose weight, however this weight loss is typically a combination of fat & muscle. So, what you're left with is a smaller version of your current self. ——————————————————————————— When you’re performing resistance training, while following a calorie-restricted diet, then you stand a better chance of losing strictly body fat, while helping to enhance the natural curves of your body. ——————————————————————————— This will give you a much better overall transformation than if you just lost weight doing cardio. If you've ever noticed someone who has lost a considerable amount of weight but still looks somewhat "soft," that's usually why. They have lost some fat, but their muscles aren't overly toned. ——————————————————————————— A lot of women shy away from lifting weights, particularly more than 5-10 pounds, simply because they believe doing so will cause them to develop large amounts of muscle. This is an unfortunate misconception because females do not have high enough testosterone levels naturally to develop the same amount of musculature as males.

I wasn’t that hungry post workout. Ended up just having a protein shake, so I came in under my macros.
1️⃣ Cold brew coffee w/ sugar free vanilla & heavy cream
3️⃣6 deviled eggs w/ a little mayo and relish (3 whole eggs)
4️⃣7 oz cooked chicken thighs w/ broccoli and butter
5️⃣100g strawberries and almond butter
This is what it's like to be early to class 😂💪🏾. All I want is a hug and for somebody to tell me that one day I'll be able to ace @chi_so_awsum's class 🙏. How long does it take to get that good?? I see #gains though!
So about those abs I mentioned two posts ago...
I workout four days a week, 30-40 minutes a day in my living room and I do abs at the end of every workout. Some weeks I’ll sprinkle in something extra for fun but my little four day a week program is what has gotten me the results you’ve seen thus far. Ten weeks and 16 pounds later and I just couldn’t be happier with my results.
