Whoooo boy. This one is tough for me to accept! What do you mean, I’m responsible for my own happiness?!
What we focus on becomes our reality. If we focus on the negative, the negatives are all we’ll see. I get it wrong a lot of times, but I work hard to change my mindset when all I can see are the tough spots.
Practicing daily gratitude is a helpful way to get your mind centered on the good. Do you have any other helpful tips for adjusting your mindset?

Does anybody else like slugs? I grew up in the Pacific Northwest, so slugs were everywhere. My sister and I would even make “mazes” for the slugs with salt. A bit rude now that I think about it...
Unfortunately, there aren’t a lot of slugs in Kansas City, so I have to admire them from afar.

To be honest, Anthony Bourdain was not high on my radar when he was alive. But I’ve seen a lot of nice comments about him, so I did a bit more digging. He has some really nice inspirational quotes about living life to the fullest and being humble in all that we do. This is one of my favorites.
