Took a rib boat out to Trollfjorden in Lofoten, Norway to look for sea eagles. The weather has been pretty rough this last week, so the birds were apparently more interested than usual in the fish that we had to offer them. They put on an impressive show of catching fish both out of the water, as seen here, as well as catching them in mid air when we threw them. The seagulls are no slouch at this game too, and held their own despite the massive size of the sea eagle. The sea eagle is protected here in Norway, and can exceed 8kg in weight with a wingspan exceeding 2m. Absolutely awesome to see.
