I had a seriously close call on my bike ride home this past Friday night. I ended up with a mild concussion and a couple of scratches/bruises but it could've easily been so much worse. Getting to a destination a few minutes quicker than usual isn't all that important when you risk the safety of others. Watch out for your fellow human beings out there, we're all in this together.
“Ben, I’m tellin you bro ... I got this all under control” - moments before falling @ben.barbee @jasondoggettt
I think that the optimism in me is what really keeps me going, believing wholeheartedly and knowing deep within me that I’m going to do some absolutely amazing things in this life really pushes me to wake up every morning and make it a reality.
I think I’m going to make a video about what ... or who in specific motivates me everyday.
Gotta get it while the gettin’s good! 🤙🏼🌲🔥 Hope you’re all enjoying summer’s epic opportunities and having a great start to the week! ☀️🙏🏼⛰ Never miss a chance to fuel up for your next trip with extended hours from 9am-8pm all season here @greentrees_ca to better fit your adventurous schedule! ✨⏰😄🚀💚

this instagram has definitely had a highly saturated vibe which is probably a wee bit too bright, but being in copenhagen may tone me down a little. although i feared i would never see the sun & i would be freezing all semester i have been pleasantly surprised (for the time being). i would describe the weather as easy, breezy & beautiful like a cover girl. you’re never too hot (bye virginia humidity) & you’re not too cold (with a sweater ofc), there’s a delightful wind, the sun does shine on occasion and even the rain & clouds don’t ruin the vibe. (yes it’s only day 3 so stay tuned how my positive attitude evolves as winter rolls in)
anyways...posting an obligatory bike picture bc i am officially part of the bike culture having already conquered the monday rush hour traffic. i was not as overwhelmed as expected but definitely have plenty to learn (tip: you reallyyyy gotta yield to pedestrians, saw a manslaughter charge flash before my eyes), but after this semester i’m confident i’ll be trained for the tour de france.
When we refer to community, network, and positive environments. We’re mostly referring to doing something positive with good dudes who have shared interests. Community doesn’t mean Veterans Only. Community doesn’t mean SOF Only. One of the best times I’ve recently had was riding #mtb in the mountains with a group of dudes I had never met. A buddy and I went looking for an adventure to get away from the work grind. We met up with guys who had various backgrounds. Attorneys, real estate, etc. Some veterans, mostly civilians, surprisingly one of the dudes was currently going through a selection we went though a decade ago. None of that mattered. Everyone was out there for one reason, to have a good time doing something they loved. Plenty of jokes and good food. Memories were made, and we’ll surely be back again. Don’t close yourself off to the rest of the world by being overly concerned with someone’s background or comparing accomplishments. If you’re into climbing, go climb. Even if showing up to a crowded spot solo. Your network will expand and you’ll probably have a great time. Introduce yourself, offer to belay, don’t be a dick, and you’ll be more than welcome. This applies to mostly any activity or interest. Get out there and have a good time. #UnCanna#UnCannaCBD

Very popular and the best way to discover country and people are organised biking trips for individual or small groups. It can be from one day cycling trips to 1 or 2 weeks across the country. The best areas are around Inle Lake, Kalaw, Pindaya, also towards Mandalay or in Bagan. We recently launched very successful a Pioneer program to South Myanmars Highlights.
