Creating the custom products people are looking for from scratch is simultaneously the most rewarding and most frustrating part of of the job. This will be a seat bag for my aunt, who has searched high and low for a bag to meet her needs and hasn't found one that's just right. I hope to create a solution!
Fresh from the sewing machine, my custom #framebag and #toptubebag went out for a test ride in preparation for our Jordan #bikepacking trip.
Are they perfect? Nope.
But they're flashy and functional and I've applied the lessons I learned making them to my designs and techniques to make every bag better than the last!
@mileeg77 from Gloucester, MA created this gorgeous #HuxleyBag for my pattern testing. Emily says:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "My daughter is 9 and she loves the size of this bag. I love it for an every day bag. It fits both of our water bottles at the same time, which is handy for a hike."
Why should #bikepacking bags have to be boring? They shouldn't!!
Wanting something bright and unique inspired me to try making my own #framebag and #toptubebag
They turned out pretty awesome and people started asking me if I would make more...so I've embarked on a very interesting journey!
Bruiser Bags is born!
With my due date right around the corner, I'm totally inspired by this baby #HuxleyBag ! Meet @nique_et , who kindly tested the Huxley for me, and even tested it out as a diaper bag! She says: "I'm happy to report that it fits my wallet, phone, changing pad, 2 pacifiers, 2 onesies, a swaddling blanket, 5 disposal diapers, a full pack of wipes, and an adult shirt. It also comfortably fits my husband (he's happy to wear it)"
Giving some customer love to Cassandra (@escapingny) who took our bag on a bike tour across Cuba❣️ It may be Thursday but this bike is ready for the weekend. Spend your Friday biking beautiful landscapes with our Po Campo Kinga Handlebar bag, made for function and style.
