Particularly sketchy attraction in Pemberton.
This is the Dave Evans Bicentennial tree.
There has been thin steel poles hammered in to the sides of the tree all the way up to 250ft. You can climb up as far as you feel confident, with absolutely no safety equipment. It just says 'Danger, climb at your own risk' all over.
My knees were definitely shaking, especially because it was wet.
Annoyingly started pouring with rain so it would have been ridiculous to go to the top.
100% want to come back on a dry day.
You'll be missed, Anisa.
Thank you for being one of the few people that helped me during the bicentennial celebration which I hosted last year, especially for going as far as to sing with me on stage and give a presentation of the Faith and the occasion.
I wish I could host another garden tea party for next year's event as well, and even if I could, I'm not sure if it will be as successful if we won't have you to join us as you'll be living in New York.
Best wishes to you and your husband. 🙌

A vintage sampler kit from Bernat celebrating the bicentennial from 1976, No. S 9110. Finished size was 12” x 16”.
This is the second one I’ve stitched - he first was stitched in 1976 and long gone! So purchased a replacement kit and worked it several years ago.
