I've been so un motivated this week. I started out motivated Monday...And fell downhill from there. I havent walked or worked out since Monday. Just working everyday. More often than not, I let my job put me in a funk. I'm just not as happy there anymore and havent been for awhile. I am working on making a change, but in the meantime I cant let it get me down to where I come home And dont want to work on myself. I do great at not letting that happen usually....but then sometimes I have a week like this. This is so true! If I have on my workout clothes I always go. I missed pulse the Monday before last because I forgot my cash and wallet and all that. Y’all know it’s hard to eat all of the fruit you should have in one day!! I’ve been trying so hard!! I’m finding that making myself smoothies and shakes is a great way to get a couple of servings of fruit in one sitting and I can drink it!! I made one this morning that is so good! It is 1/2 c of vanilla yogurt, 1/2 c of mandarin oranges in 100% juice, 1/2c of frozen antioxidant mix fruit that has blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries, a scoop of Espira vanilla protein powder, and a 1/4c of water!! I am drinking that and ate a piece of organic whole grain toast with cheese and it’s a meal! I love it!! #betterme2018#avonbytraciwood#lovemyespira
If you ever have times where you keep worrying, I’ve found it helps to practice using your 5 senses (sight, smell, touch, taste, & hearing). I make myself stop thinking about by focusing on where I am currently at, what I can see, what I can smell, what I am feeling, what I can taste, and what I can hear at the time. After that I think of 3 things I am grateful for and the worry goes away 😉
Do you ever have a bad thought come into your mind that gets you down? Do you think you’re not good looking enough? Maybe it’s a thought about a mistake you made in your past. Don’t let those thoughts in your head. Choose to replace them with positive thoughts that will bring you to bigger and better things. Love yourself so that you can love others well too.
Don’t sweat the small things. There are many problems that occur throughout our life but how we handle them determines what kind of person we are. When our kids are driving us crazy we can still choose to remain calm and to love on them instead. Doing nice things for others will actually make you happier. It’s best to always do things for others without expecting anything in return. When you’re able to give freely it feels a lot better for yourself and to the person you helped.
It’s hard to stay positive when you’re around negative people. Today choose to stay away from any negative people or negative situations. If you hear a negative thought in your head, replace it with a positive one. Do something that makes you happy today 😊
This is such a simple challenge. But it is so satisfying. I bought someone a coffee at Starbucks who was behind me in line. I didn’t get to see their reaction, but I felt good that I cheered someone up. Not everything that we do nice for other people needs to be noticed. Do you ever say yes so much that it makes you stressed out? I used to help anyone that asked even when I had a lot to do myself. I had to learn to say no and that it’s ok to do so. I always eat worse when I'm stressed at work, and when I'm on my period. So the last 2 weeks I havent eaten the best, way way better than I used too still, but I threw in some sweets too many times and a few days I had some fried foods.
