It seems like a waste of time to spend about 2.5 hours in the kitchen on the weekend! 🤦🏼‍♀️

Look at it this way: you would have cooked every single day during the week. 🥘 It would take you about 40 min to cook and wash up for each meal (if it is a simple meal), so you would actually spend about 6 hours 40 minutes in total on food preparation, and that is if you keep it simple. 🙌🏻So, you save about 4h 10min, and a whole load of money if you would get takeaways instead (my food hall usually costs about £25). Welp... today will be considered a massive “cheat” day. I ate fast-food for dîner and lunch.
It was something I could do before with almost no problem but since I started my weight loss journey and paying more attention to what I eat, my relation to food in general has changed. Today, I realized that eating only fast-food was actually very unsatisfying. It just felt like too much.
I knew that, when losing weight naturally, people’s food habits changed generally for the best, but I can see mine improve already in a way I didn’t expect, so I’m actually looking forward to seeing how much more it can change :)

I’ve modified (of course I have.... 😏) a morning glory muffin recipe and this has been a fave in our household for years.

Ok friends, you know what to do; blend the dry, mix the wet, stir together, add the add ins, put in muffin tins, bake at 350 for about 30 minutes. Got it? ☺️
Makes about 18.

Briggy’s Morning Glory
🌅 
DRY:
1 cup organic sprouted spelt flour.
1/2 cup flax meal.
1/2 cup hemp seeds.
2 tsp baking soda.
2 tsp cinnamon.
1/4 tsp unrefined salt.

WET:
3 eggs.
1/2 cup chia gel
1/2 cup melted butter or coconut oil.
2 tsp vanilla.
3/4 - 1 cup Demerara sugar (or coconut or brown).

ADD INS:
2 cup shredded carrot.
1 large shredded apple.
1/2 cup raisins (or omit for the raisin hater - we’ve all got one ☺️).
1/2 cup unsweetened coconut.

Chickpea truffles. Healthy candy which even my picky kids won’t stop eating.
Recipe:
1 can chickpeas 
3/4 cup any nut or seed butter 
1/4 cup dates or maple syrup 
1/2 cup chopped dark chocolate (I use 75%)
1/2 cup coconut flour 
To cover:
1/2 cup dark or white chocolate
2 tsp coconut oil
On top:
Sea salt or orange zest

I literally came home from the gym and had a BRILLIANT idea.
Grandson wanted a little “treat” so I whipped this up for him and HE L😍VED IT. 👨‍🍳Nut butter “Carmel” popcorn!

No REAL measuring, just add to taste! How simple is that🤷‍♀️ Heat a pan to medium
Throw in 2 TB Almond Butter or any nut butter of choice 
1 TB of organic, unrefined coconut oil- reduce heat to low—melt together 
Add the following:
🍁Organic Maple syrup ( I used about a 1/4 tsp) you can also add stevia or Organic coconut “syrup”.. your choice 🍁🍁Unsweetened Organic Coconut flakes
🍁Pecans (broken up)or nut of choice. 
Increase heat to medium-
Toast lightly 🍁Add 1/2 of the popcorn and sprinkle organic cinnamon
Mix together

Pour into a bowel🥣 and add other 1/2 of popcorn ( you decide how much or little you want)
Let sit for about 5-10 minutes to “settle” and absorb the flavor and VOILA!✨✨ 👨‍🍳Super simple, better option and you can add as little of carbs or fats as YOU want.... #betterfood #healthieroption #healthyish #cleanfoods

How the other percentage of the worlds population who don't exercise get by in life without going bat shit crazy is beyond me.

If not for the loss or the gains, the benefits to your general health and more importantly you're mental health is just incredible. I manage to get through life on life's terms whilst having anxiety without the crutch of prescription drugs and alcohol and it's all down to how good exercise makes me feel.. there's simply no comparison. "But Joe... it's easy for you....you have no kids, no partner, no family that drag and pull out of you every waking moment... "

Ladies (and Gentlemen) let me tell you... it's all relative. We all have busy lives..but we don't all have the same priorities. We're individuals and that's just the way it will be. 
So what do you want ? 
I can't tell you that but I can tell you that that first step ( which is the hardest part) is the biggest step you are going to take. 
Forget about this nonsense of wanting to lose stones and start with pounds.. it will be much easier that way .. take that first step, be mindful of your food choices... grab the girls and take part in a class or simply a walk... it's not as if yer gonna be stuck for stuff to talk about to kill the time ( joke ) ...move a little more and the results WILL come.. there's nothing complicated about it. Just follow those steps and in no time the results will come for you again. Your body will thank you, your kids will reep the benefits, you will be more likely to be around longer to care for your family and friend and be cared for but for your family and friends. 
You're mind will become clearer again, your outlook on life will be more positive and let's call a spade a spade.. if single, you're tinder pictures will look better and you will once again feel as hot and confident as you did the first time around. 
I'm in this for the long haul and the journey is invigorating. You'll see.....

You need to stop over thinking this. It's not as much of a big deal as you think it is. Aren't you sick of saying " I'll start Monday", " I havnt the time", " I used to be so good", " can't seem to get back on track" .ETC ... dfuck is the story with this track and this wagon that you are all talking about ?? It's very simple - you were motivated.. you were  doing great .. then life, kids, family event or holiday got in the way.. All those things are always going to happen ... ALWAYS .... What happened there was you chose a short term goal - a short term diet in favour of a life-long lifestyle. That's why you are where you are now. 
Do you remember that feeling you got when your family and friends said "wow you look great!" OR "are you after losing weight?"
Felt good right ?? And you probably brushed it off by saying " oh I dunno.. do you think so?! ( or some modest bullsh!t like that ) knowing well that you did lose weight and you did look great ...when you knew damn well you had been working your ass off with good food choices and excercise. 
That's all achievable again and you know it is - if you finally stop saying you will start Monday.

It is so simple and taste like gelato.

It used speratered coconut milk the solid part, unsweetened dark chocolate chips and stevia. Not the whole recipe.

The hardest part maybe waiting for the coconut milk to separate. But it sill easy by just having it in the fridge.

I want to get some cherry and mint extracts.

The coconut was so mild and I forgot the salt but it satisfied someone with a major sweet tooth and it came together in minutes for less than $1.75.

Don't know why I took so long to make it.

I love things that are easy, delicious and nutritious. Nothing store bought would be this good all around.

So desperately want @thecastawaykitchen book "Made Whole" even more now.

Este es un desayuno ideal y rápido de preparar. Está inspirada en la receta original de las tostadas francesas, pero esta es light y sin azúcar. 
La intención es que puedas tener proteínas y carbohidratos saludables a primera hora del día para que nos llene de energía.

Ingredientes:
- 1/4 leche de almendras
- 1 cdta. de vainilla
- 2 claras de huevo y 1 completo
- 2 rebanadas de pan integral
- 1 scoop de proteína de tu preferencia 
Método:
1. Mezcla todos los ingredientes 
2. Remoja el pan y colócalo sobre una plancha caliente. Ásalo por ambas partes.
3. Sírvelo con sirop o mermelada de tu preferencia. Agrega frutos rojos.
