The lack of consistency is the stealer of dreams. Let that sink in a minute.
I know it is HARD to start a health and fitness journey. Believe me, we all have that "day one". The day you finally decide you have had enough. .
But many of us start an exercise routine and/or food plan, and FAIL. why?
Well, many of us walk away after 2 weeks. We figure in 2 weeks(or a month) we should be able to undo what we have done to our bodies for years, right? And certainly we should look like a fitness model! Ummm, no.
But if you are CONSISTENT you keep going despite seeing no or slow results because you have faith. Faith that once it gets going it will come easier, and you know what? It does!
Many of you see my "now" picture but please also see my "before". See where I started from. Know that I have my health because I have been consistently working on it. Yep. Even on those days I didn't want to. Yep. Even on vacation. Why? Because it is easier to keep going than it is to keep stopping and starting. .
Which road would you travel? The one you can go fast on but have a stop light every 2 blocks or the one you cruise at a steady 30 mph but never catch a stoplight? Which do you think will get you to your destination faster?
We can be what’s possible when others say it’s impossible. Imagine records that were broken by people that said your crazy to think you can beat that. Then it was done. Imagine the people who was told that can never happen,or be made to stop dreaming. People can only see what’s in front of them already. But we have vision beyond what was and we see what can be. Never settle for the average always be the exception and be you stand out and shine of what can be past the limits average thinking. •
Some years just fall into place, some take a little more work. This picture makes me smile. My people are all getting there and it makes me so proud. And nothing is more important than your word. What have you said that you would do for yourself that you aren't doing? Book that massage, that manicure, that yoga class. Do it, stop saying that you will, put yourself first, and just DO IT.
💚💖💙💜 It's easy to get lost in where we THINK we should be... And it's easy to psych ourselves out thinking we should be further ahead, doing more than we already are or thinking we should have already achieved our goals.
But... You're exactly where you should be.
You're exactly where the universe wants you.
You 're exactly where you need to be to fulfill your purpose.
And don't forget this.
Because life will make you think otherwise.
The comparison game will show up, you'll think you haven't made progress, and you'll be reminded of how many times you've failed.
But...magical things will come from wherever you are. Just as you are -- So take in this moment to reflect on all of the good...just as you are. 💚💖💙💜
You have 2 choices
Cling to what you only ever known or thought
You can go out there and see the world and things from a new and fresh perspective!
It’s all up to you, no matter your age , there is always room for growth and change.
Your past is your past, what once was the way is no longer true today. Are you willing to open your eyes and mind to new possibilities?
New friendships, new family,new opportunities, new approaches, new ways of thinking about things!
It’s all available to you, on the other side of your comfort zone.
So get it ! Stop letting fear, doubt , and uncertainty stop you from being be best version of you you can be!
Someone once told me don’t bite off more than I could chew. I said I’d rather choke on greatness than nibble on mediocrity.

Lady bosses, do you set standards in your life? You should, because your personal standards are a large indicator of how you treat yourself, how you treat others and also how you expect to be treated by others. They also lay the foundation for how you'll perform in life. .
When you think about it, which successful person comes to mind who had average and mediocre standards? Have you ever considered that in order to achieve your goals of financial freedom that you must first raise your personal standards in specific areas of your life: What you consume mentally, who you hang out with, the events you attend, your daily habits. These ALL play a role in your standards. And when they're consistently mediocre and average, you will continually have mediocre and average results. The phrases 'raise the bar' and 'set the bar' exist for a reason. .
And no, it doesn't mean being mean & nasty or treating people that way.
You see, when you set higher standards, you attract better opportunities and more 'higher standard' people who will help you attain your goals, because these people put action behind their words and are consistently progressing and getting shit done! .
It's okay to be home alone on a Friday or Saturday night.
It's okay to not have someone to lunch or brunch with on weekends.
It's okay to tell that 'dream' client you were hoping to sign a major deal with, no.
It's okay to turn down most invites
It's okay to not be everywhere and not give everyone access
It's okay to set high expectations and disengage those who don't meet them
It's okay to set boundaries and have standards in everyday life. .
It's okay to expect people to rise up to standards.
Dust settles. You shouldn't.

A third of the way through my 30 day posting challenge and I totally cannot be arsed. The voice in my head is telling me that it won't matter if I skip today, that no one will notice anyway. •
Except, we do notice. By letting it slide we unconsciously hurt our integrity and accountability which then lowers our self esteem. The big changes don't come in splashes, they develop over time via gradual waves. Slow and steady wins the long game.
On a side note I'm wanting to gain additional life coaching experience and feedback to help identify my key strengths witj clients and further develop my niche. So I'm looking to take on a small handful of clients to work with, fully pro-bono. PM me for details. •
Well i learned my lesson this weekend. I did not set my alarms on my phone and was traveling and busy. I came home to weight loss - but I did not feel to well the day I missed. It’s so important to keep your calories up and eat your fuelings when you are on this program ! Don’t skip them.
Sometimes I hate kids getting too much tech📵☣️, but there are times when I need them to use it more than they even want to. 🤷
And then there's my youngest, my struggle in the balance is beyond what I had with my older ones. He loves his shows, games and computer time, but he isn't always glued to them - he always prefers people to tech, even his pups come first. 💖💖💖 ✳️ But the exposure (controlled, or course) that he gets with YouTube and Netflix is something I never had, and he watches arts, dance, music, and yes, cartoons from all over the world!! 🌎🌏🌍 He's very drawn to the Asian Persuasion, naturally, but it's not beyond him to watch shows or listen to music in our ancestral Japanese and Thai or even German and Russian.
Caught this cutie watching Japanese and Portuguese shows here. 💖😉 And I'm reminded about how amazing this tool is. I can bring so many different cultures and worlds into my house! For no more than the cost of the equipment and the internet! How amazingly great and awesomely scary is that!?! And he is LEARNING things, language, arts, music, characters, cultures, scenery that I just can't afford to take him to right now (#Goals )
What a great time to be alive to teach and learn and grow and build. 💖💖💖💖💖
