SELLING TO LAST MINUTE SHOPPERS // Many consumers are busy, hate shopping, or are procrastinators, and prepared retailers can capitalize on these opportunities. Especially considering procrastination seems to be on the rise (at least when it comes to holiday shopping). Last-minute shoppers are often gift-givers rather than those buying for themselves. But the context here is a bit different: They’re looking for something convenient and efficient, maybe even ready-to-go. They might be on their way to an event or facing shipping deadlines. These shoppers don’t have time to wait for backorders, and they also don’t have hours to peruse your wares.
Product bundles and pre-wrapped items that shoppers can easily grab and go are no-brainers for such scenarios. Take a few of your new giftable items and wrap them and merchandise it that way. The presentation makes it that much more obvious that the item’s giftable, giving your customer an opportunity to pick it up, pay for it, and head out the door. .
Taking the time to remove price stickers, trim price tags, and wrap the gift are steps that your customer may not have time for themselves.

Curarli come faremmo con casa nostra” Benedetta de Falco, volontaria Premio GreenCare #bestpractices#premiogreencare#ipolliciverdidiscampia#retakenapoli#cycasrevoluta#garden#piazzaletecchio#euphoria#green#care#napoli #
#bestpractices#family#sons#mather#premiogreencare#green#care#garden #
Staff is often just as excited, distracted and antsy as the kids leading up to winter break. It’s a great time of year to pause, take a breath, reorganize, prioritize and start fresh in the new year | ✏️#doingwhatsbestforkids
Smile every morning when you wake up. You are alive. Be thankful. Celebrate by jumping. Then ask what are you going to do next. Every morning when I wake up, even before my feet touches the floor, I say “Thank you for the morning!” 👉👉What’s your morning routine?
Twice a day, I grain the alpacas and sheep. It's quite a big job but still manageable, with the number of animals we have, to do it by hand. I weigh out every feed in a 50-30-20 split of alfalfa, oats and barley and aim for 680g (about 1 1/2 lb)per animal, per day. Because I'm feeding by hand, I have ample time to see each individual, note a snotty nose, examine a twisted toe, rub an ear. It helps me to understand them as a group and individually . . . And hopefully, if I'm wise and patient and watchful, I'll be the kind of steward that can show off healthy, happy animals with a fleece quality you'll be itching to get your fingers into. 😊😊😊 #farmlife#feedingtime#farmer#bestpractices#permaculture#hopesanddreams#fibre#homestead#homeontherange#providencelanefarm#welcometomyfrontier
I’m trying out no math homework this year and I’m loving it. Students are still expected to read 5 days a week for at least 20 minutes. They pick the days that work best for them. I’m also teaching shorter math lessons, doing more checkins (paper/pencil and observations) and doing a lot more guided math groups. I’ve gotten a lot of parent feedback that parents now have more time to read with their kids and have more family time which will help the student in countless other ways. My students do get a math review for their math test 48 hours before the unit test. Parents are asked to look at it (as it comes home already graded) and work on any concepts their child got wrong. On occasion, I do send some type of practice home for those students who need it or those students who might want a challenge. Who else isn’t doing math homework this year? #homework#math#mathproblems#nohomework#familytime | Link: bit.ly/2EmJW7g
How can you know which #CBD brands to trust? The top CBD oil brands practice “full traceability.” That means following their product closely and maintaining the highest standards of quality from the #hemp plants growing in the fields, through the labs where CBD and other cannabinoids are extracted, right up to rigorous quality testing before you buy the finished product. Every CBD product should be transparent about where their hemp is grown, how they make their supplement, and clearly provide you with information on the purity and strength — not to mention third-party lab results to back it all up.

These last few weeks since thanksgiving have been so grounding (even though I’ve possibly been in the air more than on the ground) reconnecting with some of my favorite people and best practices for life. I want to share them with you so maybe they inspire you to create your own “best practices” and maybe share them as well so we can all inspire and support each other to be at our best.
Here it goes! Please share your own in a comment or DM 💋
1. Make one great choice everyday - early in the day
2. Drink hot water with lemon first thing to “shower the insides”
3. Get my butt to the gym every morning before anything else - no matter what (sweating feels so so good and I am always in a great mood after - always). 4. Answer everyone that emails me - this one gets hard but is the right thing to do so I’m making it a must. If you write me I will write you back.
5. Help one person (at least)
6. Keep my eyes up while walking in public and on the train (no more texting and bumping into people... )
5. Make sure I made one great choice and have gratitude that I did. No harm in acknowledging when we do well!
6. Be better - I just ask myself “how can I be better right now” then I just do it.
7. Dance Dance Dance - in a class or on my own because dance is my first love and it deserves my attention and feeds my soul. The more soul food we give ourselves the better we can be for life 💜
