Hello, good morning everyone!👋🏻 -
Just a little reminder my last day working at T. Salon is August 29th! I only have a few openings left before I move so please don’t wait until the very last minute to try and get in!
My go-to method:
Back to back slices along hairline, then moving to fine woven highlights in diagonal back partings, then moving to finely woven teased panels shown above. This will be continued until both sides meet in the back at vertical sections. This will give a tear dropped effect slowly moving down the further back you go. I like to also partner this with a lowlight over demarcation lines in between for a shadowed look without having to do any base melting!! Here I’m working with @joico Blonde Life 20v on her base and 10v on her prelightened ends with @framar brushes. Would you like to see more of this?
Took an unintentional little break from posting, I’m back and I’m here for this!!! A knockout combo of teasy lights + baby lights + under lights on level 1 Asian hair!!! All kept healthy with @olaplex 🖤🌀🖤🌀
Shoutout to @dominguezz2 for blowing out all this hair!!!
We live in a crazy time • Social media is such a blessing for business but it also can be something that we use against ourselves.
Someone very wise once told me that ‘The only person you have to be better than is the person you were yesterday’ • I’ve always remembered that • There are a million of us hairstylists on this platform • All trying to stand out in some way • But here’s what I know for sure, the stylist I am today is lightyears better then the one I was a year ago • I’m going to keep learning, keep listening, keep growing and keep loving so that a year from now I can say the same thing • Not so that everyone else thinks I’m better then the next stylist, I can’t care about that • It’s poison • but so I can say I’m growing and evolving and perfecting the thing I love to do most •
Happy Monday people ☝🏼
This golden blonde (swipe) didn’t suit my client whatsoever, so she trusted me to take her darker! She looked like a completely different person 🙌🏻🙌🏻 Sometimes you just gotta trust us and let the magic happen! Full balayage, alternating painting to blend and lowlight panels to add depth and dimension. Root: @redken SEQ 5nw + 4n, Lowlight: 6n + 5nw, Tone: 6gi + 7v 🙌🏻
Base color ▶️ hair paint 🎨 •
I get a lot of questions about do I separate base colors and balayage/hairpaint services and here is what I tell people. •
IT ALL DEPENDS!! If your client is ok with being rooty, do a base color and balayage/hairpaint at the same time. If your client wants highlights to the scalp and needs base color, you need to do 2 separate services. Base color, process, rinse, dry and then a second highlight service. This will make sure that the highlights will be even, and lift appropriately. NO MATTER WHAt, if you overlap lightener with color the results WILL be warm. Every. Single. Time. #hairbyjackieepp

I honestly think Julia can wear anything, and I plan on trying everything on her before all is said and done 🤓 Happy Monday everyone!
