It's so simple to power things with USB and I strongly advocate using rechargable batteries (eneloop batteries are the best; trust me, they are incredible). It's better for the environment and saves piles of cash. And who wants to be stuck at an outlet these days?
Rechargeable USB battery packs are a must for me. People are skeptical because inferior battery packs have flooded your local store, cost a small fortune and perform like sh*t... I get it, once you get duped into paying $70 for a battery pack that doesn't stay charged and can't top off your phone more than a couple times, they feel like a scam.
I wish I were paid by Anker to plug their battery packs. Been using them for 6 years now and they completely kick ass. They are priced better than their competition. Built better than their competition. They also last longer, work better and look better than the competition. They are the best kept secret and should be a staple of every electronics using household.
This is my on-going sales pitch for these battery packs. Trust me, use your Prime shipping and this will be the best $40 - $60 you have ever spent. Ever.

As campsites go, it doesn't get any better than this place IMHO - serenly beautiful, peaceful, run on honesty and frequently I'm the only one here!! Better still, it backs on to an old wood that's teeming with wildlife where I've just spotted a wild doe red deer and her foal grazing and down the road is possibly the best organic food cafe I've ever found, run by a team of the loveliest, most creative, kind hearted ladies you could imagine!
It's so good in fact that I'm not going to tell you where it is unless you bribe me or happen to accompany me next time I'm here!! #peaceful#healing#justwhatineed#mycupoftea#bestkeptsecret
Have you heard of the new Amos Herr Dream Park & Playground in Landisville, PA? The park just opened in October 2016. It’s created with a child’s imagination in mind and full of unique and exciting play areas for kids of all ages! You won’t want to miss this hidden secret in Lancaster County.
We watched some videos and looked at some photos of the Amos Herr Dream Park before we headed to the park, so we knew a little of what to expect (see link in my profile for photos and video). But let me tell you, it is even more impressive in person! The park has two sections designed for children ages 0-5 and 5-12. Adult supervision is recommended.
We entered through a really cute covered bridge to start. I just love covered bridges! This was also a great place to cool off and have my kids sit and wait for me while I was rounding up my crew later in the day when it was time to leave.
The park has several musical hands-on centers. I loved that they all sounded beautiful and not old and clunky and out of tune. The drums were impressively loud and clear—very entertaining for the kids!
The little kid side of the park has a sandbox, small see-saws, riding animals, stationary tractors to climb on, a barn, little bridges, and play houses.
The bigger kid area is sure to be fun for many ages. I loved the unique options that you don’t find at other parks like the sit and spin, high climbing tower, climbing walls, and zipline!
