The Gedächtniskirche or Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church is the symbolic centre of West Berlin, an anti-war memorial to peace and reconciliation. Following allied bombing during WWII, the original west Tower has remained standing as a ruin and is hauntingly named the "hollow tooth" as it is literally an empty husk.
The original church on the site was built in the 1890s. It was badly damaged in a bombing raid in 1943. The present building, which consists of a church with an attached foyer and a separate belfry with an attached chapel, was built between 1959 and 1963. The damaged spire of the old church has been retained and its ground floor has been made into a memorial hall.
🌞 I’ve been so vocal and proud to call #MyDubai my current second home! 🏠 This emirate has been providing me infinite possibilities to grow, learn and explore! 🌾 From the vast and arid desert, to impressive towering skyline, I consider it as a priceless privilege to witness Dubai’s unparalleled metamorphosis, more so, to evolve with this vibrant city through the years! I want my one and only mom to revisit Dubai for her to see how it has changed from what her memory could recall. I want her to experience the pleasant, lovely and outstanding things Dubai could offer! I hope to win 2 return tickets from @emirates ✈️ with this entry so I could invite my Mamy @tessie.monton15 with either my brother or my Dad to visit me here in Dubai! 🇦🇪 ❤️ #MyInvite @mydubai 🙏🏻

Laguna Atitlán is a beautiful clear crystal blue crater lake. It’s surrounding by active volcanos, who’s green peaks sit high into the low slung clouds, making the views phenomenal.
When visiting Guatemala staying in Antigua is a must, this gorgeous little city is filled with vibrant street life, cafes, shops, bars and much more! From Antigua you can hike Acatenango volcano for as little as $50 for a 2 day tour, transport, guide, food and camping accommodation. Trips leave daily and as long as the weather isn’t too terrible (rainy season) you’re pretty much guaranteed to have a fantastic time, complete with star gazing and sunset over the volcano as it ever sputtering bright orange lava into the night 🌋
From Antigua you can also jump on minibus for $10 taking 3-4 hours to Laguna Atitlán. Transport drops you at Panajachel (the Laguna main port) from here you pay $1.50-$2.50 to ride a boat ferry to your desired town of choice.
We stayed at San Marcos a sweet little village, with stunning views, several yoga studios and veggie restaurants and cafes a plenty. From San Marcos you can walk the easy couple of hours to San Pedro, passing through Santa Clara and San Juan along the way. Substantial parts of the walk are on the main roads but still pleasant with scenic lakeside views throughout.
San Marco is also home to Cerro Tzankujil- nature reserve, entry fee $3 (open from 8am-6pm). Where you can hike the trails and swim in the Laguna from its many small rocky beaches.
Wherever you stay around the Laguna however, there are many swimming and walking options and all most definitely have stunning views, and what a truly stunning view!

Used in some religious practices to accompany periods of meditation and chanting, a standing bell or resting bell is an inverted bell, supported from below with the rim uppermost. Such bells are normally bowl-shaped, and exist in a wide range of sizes, from a few centimetres to a metre in diameter. They are often played by striking, but some - known as singing bowls - may also be played by rotating a mallet around the outside rim to produce a sustained musical note.
This musical note, according to manufacturing, can be connected to different Chakras. In this specific case the bell of @silentmindsingingbowls, entirely hand-engraved, allows me to meditate by opening the Crown Chakra, the one connected to nature and the concept of universe and universal spirit.
