Noisy Minor: Bad Wolf - Imperial / Double IPA - 8.8%ABV - Fortitude Brewing Company
When you taste it, "you'll know". This DIPA is a cracker! Aroma of pine needles & citrus up front. Fantastic hoppy character floods the palate first up, followed by notes of stonefruit & caramel. Finishes with a big, yet really smooth bitterness. (Also loving the fact this comes in a 500ml can). The ABV sneaks up on you a little but who cares when it tastes this good! Rating: 4.5 / 5

Full Harvest - Rye IPA - 6.7%ABV - All Inn Brewing Co.
Managed to stop by the brewery last night for a quick sneaky beer as my folks flight was delayed. It's a great venue with a number of taps to choose from but the sunday night beer of choice is this rye IPA from All Inn Brewing. This is hugely malty but balanced nicely with Magnum hops comes across with a thick & sweet flavour but remains gentle, paired with a robust bitterness. I'm not getting any real rye spiciness that I look forward to in this style of beer, but it's full bodied strong & dank flavours see it through.

Hobbit Southfarthing Girdley Fine Grain (3.7%): My brother returned from New Zealand, where he visited Hobbiton/The Shire from The Lord Of The Rings and b(r)ought me this Amber Ale. Got a lazy sunday, so I started a LOTR-marathon to enjoy it in the right settings. It pours a beautiful amber colour. Taste has a caramel and malty taste flavouring. For a tourist gift shop brew, it is way better than expected. Actually, it is quite okay and powerful, given the low ABV.
Beer style: Amber Ale
Birbant Coco Moon (5.0%): The label says “coco & coffee milk stout”, so I was expecting a distinctiv coconut flavouring. Turns out I couldn’t really detect any coconut, but more like sweet chocolate at first, then milk and at the end coffee. Pleasant taste, but I am missing something; a thicker body maybe. Would love to try it barrel aged. Maybe it would give the taste more depth.
Beer style: Stout
Mayday Hills: Yuzu - Fruit Sour - 6.5%ABV - Bridge Road Brewers
Yuzu: A sour Japanese citrus fruit about the size of a tangerine & has a flavour commonly described as a cross between grapefruit & lime. From the get go of cracking this bottle open, I got that wonderfully funky & earthy Brett aroma. Not much sourness or tartness to speak of but may become more apparent as it ages a little? Quite complex fruitiness that has its impact late rather than up front. Rating: 3.75 / 5
Beer Because of receiving some delicious #angrychairbrewing Stout on the Porch today, and just in time because the 🐁 is still in the basement. The relocation negotiators flight got delayed, so the Mouse relocation is postponed till tomorrow .😳😅
