Beautiful Australian Beef Eye Fillet steaks... final sear over Lump Hardwood Charcoal by @firebrandbbq. Love this charcoal!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Rub used - Brisket Rub and Ancho Expresso by @lanesbbqau @lanesbbq
Grill/Heat Source used ~ Weber Kettle over @firebrandbbq charcoal.
TIP: One of the methods I use to grill my steaks is called the Reverse Sear Method.
I add my hot burning charcoal on one side of my Weber Kettle. I sit my raw steak about 20cm away, opposite side to the charcoal.
I cover my Kettle with the lid and cook until the steaks have reached 130f (55c) internal temp.
I then give them a quick sear over the flames and rest them in foil for 10 mins before serving. In that time they reach an internal temp of close to 130-135f.

Japanese BBQ at Shinta, known for their all you can eat waygu beef
A rare occasion where Japanese BBQ was chosen over sushi 🔥 Overall, it was not bad - upscale decor and the menu offers many options beyond beef

Our smoked chicken, basking in these lovely rays of sunshine.
It’s a calm Tuesday here in the neighborhood. Come join us and be first up for cornhole or jenga. The food is hot and the lawn is set for a fun night.
For our friends who make plans: we will be sharing details around our upcoming Halloween party very soon. Stay tuned and shoutout to our neighbors @thegoldmark + @newamsterdampgh for teaming up on a spooky concept.
Cheers, Lawrenceville. Much love.
* They had names. HAD. They are dead now
This truck only has openings at the top. We cannot see them from the ground. I hopped on @markcoombs7 shoulders to footage and immediately started shaking with anger when I saw their names written on the ear tags
Sometimes I feel there is too much complacency in the movement. Comfortable with the ways things are. In some cases even taking steps backward. We’re not pushing enough boundaries. Nothing is going to change from our comfort zones. Put another species in their place. Dogs, humans... would you stand by politely, shaking hands with the perpetrators? What are the next steps and who’s ready to take them?
