How do you tackle putting the washing away? I try and set bedroom day as they day I put it away as it’s generally left in the washing baskets for ages! It’s my least favourite chore and I know it would be easier if I just put it away straight away once it’s ready and folded. I must have some psychological block 😂 I just can’t get into the habit of putting it away! Anyone else with me on this one? If not, what’s your least favourite chore?
It’s hard being a mama, wife, and friend. Life is freaking hard. Most who know me well, know that if I say I’ll be there, I will always show up. If I comment to you, you’ll always get 100% of me. But I’m the first to let myself down. I’ll run this week, I’ll eat better, I’ll get up earlier, you see the trend. Then later comes, I still don’t have the time.
😳 So I made HUGE changes in the last few months. I gave up #Starbucks , yup bye-bye. Why? Because it’s expensive and HORRIBLE for my belly and kidney issues. I also have a HUGE goal to make Mexico always happen. With $15-25 per week in Starbucks.... I’ll save money fast! #bedmaking It’s the NEW thing in our house for the parents. Kids have ALWAYS had to makes their beds before school. Why? Because after chasing 5 kids, new puppy, and well just a busy life. I needed to feel like I had one clean, organized place in our house. Bed made makes me walk in our room feeling relaxed. NEXT.... ME TIME! For three weeks now I’ve been running three times a day. I’ve tried to say no. I’ve tried to say I can skip, but I haven’t and I’m so proud of me! I don’t always have a shit ton of time. Available for me. But I’ve made time. It’s amazing what getting up 30 minutes earlier can actually accomplish. I’ve also decided to make time for breakfast with the Little’s. They have all loved and enjoyed hot breakfasts before school for the last three weeks. You can do ANYTHING, you just have to decide what kind of time are you willing to use to accomplish your goal. I feel amazing and empowered by very small changes in my life. And yes... Like most people I am not a morning person....until I get my coffee🤷🏼♀️☕️
Which also means I usually wakeup with negative thoughts like “ I don’t want to go to work” “I’m so tired” “I already need a nap” etc. but lately I have been waking up,getting ready, get in my car, and tell myself “I’m going to have a great day”. This small change in my routine has made big impact on my days. I am a lot more positive and look forward to seeing what happens instead of dreading it. •
Small changes to your routine can make a big difference. Even if it’s just making your bed every morning or bringing someone breakfast. These small activities boost your productivity, mood, and lowers your stress.
