MAHODAND KALAM a few Months Back❤️
Looks like @dashingswati and Hamza khan are enjoying the view.
Jeeps would be your best choice to travel in from kalam to Mahodand due to the poor condition of road.
It is morning, I awake from a bed of silence,
Shining I rise from the starless waters of sleep.
The walls are about me still as in the evening,
I am the same, and the same name still I keep.
The earth revolves with me, yet makes no motion,
The stars pale silently in a coral sky.
In a whistling void I stand before my mirror,
Unconcerned, and tie my tie. - Conrad Aiken

Sitting on the bench, surrounded by cloud piercing peaks, at an altitude of 2700 meters, was an amazing experience 😃! We had to climb up straight for one and a half hour in order to get to the top of the cliff⛰️, surrounded on all sides by jaw dropping and gigantic mountains of Karakoram range🏔️, where the spiritually strengthening and energizing mosque of Thoqsi Khar🕌 is present. "Thoqsi Khar" is a Balti word which means the "Upper Forte" or the "Forte of the Roof ". It was basically an army checkpos🏰t built at the mountain top for having an eye on any incoming enemy troops from Kharmang region, by then emperors of Yabgo Dynasty🗽. But today, only the mosque and some remnants of the original Forte remain there as an evidence of the past. For the past few years, this site has been getting tourist attractions not only from Pakistan but also from all over the world🌏. This place is hugely worth visiting if you ever visit Khaplu. There is a nicely built, cute hotel(Thoqsi Khar Palace) 🏨at the top which remains open 24/7 throughout the week for tourists with all the basic facilities. I found this place truly beautiful as it gives a mesmerizing and breath taking view of the whole Khaplu Valley🏞️ and the sky high snow covered peaks of Karakoram Range🗻. This place is also an incredible place to visit for tourists who are fond of climbing🏕️, one really needs real guts to get to the top. In my first ever experience , I nearly went unconscious after getting at the top and needed 20 mins of rest and plenty of water to get back on track, it was ridiculous as I lost to both of my younger brothers in our challenge to get to the top first 😂😂😂... So, I urge u all to plz do visit Khaplu Valley and Thoqsi Khar, I am sure you will fall in love with this place...
