#ClubMedTomamu Kid-friendly Activity #6 ⃣: ROAR! In Japan, brown bears can only be found in Hokkaido, and Sahoro Resort Bear Mountain is the only place where visitors can observe them safely as they roam freely through the vast forest.
We got a close look at these majestic creatures on a 1.2 km bear-watching bus course. But the highlight was when we came face to face with the bears at Bear Point. Luckily we were separated by a thick wall of glass! #Bear Mountain is a 40-min drive away from @clubmedtomamu.
Great day for a throwback..
One of the best days of my entire life right here. My good friend John Brown convinced me to try the adaptive ski program at Bear Mountain earlier this year. I had not tried a bi-ski since I was 14 at Winter Park, CO.
I was definitely humbled by how much upper strength you actually do need for this. I am very excited to try again next season. Shortly after this photo, George a.k.a. Captain America(pictured left) took me full assist down the half pipe. Yes, the half pipe, with zero warning. I was so excited and happy, I forgot how to scream. It is truly special to see the joy this program brings to not only the participants, but to the volunteers as well. 🙏🏼⛷🏔#tbthursday#thesherriff#usarc#bearmountain
'The redwoods, once seen, leave a mark or create a vision that stays with you always. The feeling they produce is not transferable. From them comes silence and awe. It's not only their unbelievable stature, nor the color which seems to shift and vary under your eyes, no, they are not like any trees we know, they are ambassadors from another time.' #californiadreaming#bearmountain#redwoodforest#nofilterneeded
