Two days in Bayreuth with my girls to honor the passing of my first mother in law, Nona. What a remarkable woman she was! I am rekindled with such respect and admiration for the path she chose to walk.
Reconnecting with so many people who had been part of my family for so many years and who I had not seen in decades, left me feeling both exhilarated and exhausted. It reminded me that human bonds can always spring back to life, that underneath the insecurities, odd priorities, and misunderstood drives of my younger years, there has always been an ever ready ability to appreciate and love other human beings exactly for who they are.
After a short trip to Bayreuth last weekend where I had the biggest luck to have @davelikke around being the best tour guide and host I could imagine. Thank you so much for the nice welcome!🙏🏻 I am back in Dresden for the next couple of weeks.
And know I really ask myself... Why do always the best people have to live so far away 😔 #leipzig#bayreuth#hamburg#dontleave
