Jumped into #Battlefront2 today to check out the new General Kenobi skin! I have to say, it came out at the perfect time considering my recent obsession with the #CloneWars show! They made it look identical to Obi Wan in the series 🤯
How are you guys liking all of the recent updates in the game? I’ve been playing it a lot more than I expected!
Steve Yelden: Episode VIII: The Last Jedi -Kicking off the Cinematography showcase, I wanted to start with The Last Jedi because it turns 1 year old this week. While I personally
don't care for the story of this instalment in the Saga. I can't deny the fact that Rian Johnson and Steve Yeldin shot a masterpiece in Cinematography. While I was thinking of my favorite shots there were so many to choose from. "Rian loves the shots to be so dynamic and evocative, but they're never flashy for flashy's sake," Yedlin explained. "It's not meant to call attention away from the narrative; it's meant to be where the visuals and the narrative aren't really separate from each other." If there's any stylistic connection to the Original Trilogy in The Last Jedi, it's that. When George Lucas created the first three Star Wars films, his film nerd background led him to draw on a diverse array of sources for inspiration, from Akira Kurosawa's Hidden Fortress to the sci-fi camp of Flash Gordon. But he didn't copy anything.
