Whipped up this lemon blueb banana bread this morning to welcome in the weekend 🍋 🍌
It’s gluten free and made with only a handful of ingredients (recipe coming soon!). This is the perfect mix of sweet and savoury—my ideal kind of breakfast or snack.
Feel free to top with nuts, some lemon rind or a big spoonful of jam. Every way you slice it, I swear it’s delicious!

So I was making banana bread but it turned out to be more like a cake than bread, which I didn't mind at all! Sweet, thick, dense and bursting with banana and cinnamon, this banana cake was a success🙌🏼 actually, it was so good that I ate the whole thing in only two days😅 zero regrets!

Bananencake van huttenkase kwark! Kleffe cake is mijn ultieme #guiltypleasure en dan deze het liefst nog versieren met slagroom en m&m’s! Maar dat is natuurlijk niet helemaal fitgirl proof. Daarom zag ik deze gezonde variant op de Instagram van @chantal130387. Echt een aanrader! Blijft lekker klef en helemaal heaven met een laagje Nutella (oops). Persoonlijk vind ik de huttenkase kwark zo kaal niet te eten, maar in de cake merk je er niks van! Wat zit er dan allemaal in? 200 gr zelfrijzend bakmeel, 200gr huttenkase kwark vanille, 50 gr eiwitpoeder vanille of banaansmaak, 2-3tl vanille extract , zakje bakpoeder, 3 bananen, 3 eieren, snufje kaneel! Alles mixen en cakeblik bekleden met bakpapier. Half uurtje op 170 graden in de oven! Today I realized we had TONS of super ripe bananas 🍌🍌 so of course I made banana bread 🍞 the recipe I use is super simple too! •3ripe bananas •2 cups oats •2 flax eggs •1 tbsp baking soda •1/4 cup pure maple syrup place the ingredients in a blender, then transfer it to a pan and bake at 350 degrees for 40 ish minutes. Don’t forget to top it off with nuts/chocolate chips!🍫🌰

Healthy Coconut Banana Bread 🍌 coming at you!
-2 large bananas
-1/3 cup melted coconut oil
-1/2 cup honey
-3 scoops @furtherfood collagen
-1/4 cup almond milk
-1 tsp baking soda -1 tsp vanilla extract -1/2 tsp salt
-1/2 tsp cinnamon
-my optional mix ins were unsweetened coconut flakes, chopped walnuts, and some mini dark chocolate chips!! .
Had a piece as SOON as it came out of the oven because ya gotta get that chocolate melt am I right!? Who else needs to have whatever they baked ASAP 🙋🏼♀️

Because I'm feeling really housewifey this morning, I got up and made @ambitiouskitchen gluten free chocolate chip banana bread for the family. 😍 Added sliced figs on top, and I love the way they caramelize in the oven!

Sweet Potato Banana Bread 🍌
Made with sweet potato flour and sweetened with coconut nectar & lucuma powder 😋 I bought sweet potato flour a while ago, but never got around to using it, so when I had a bunch of overripe bananas, I decided to experiment and came up with this super moist, cinnamon sweet potato banana bread 🤤 The sweet potato flour did not disappoint! I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend so far ☺️
Super Healthy Banana Bread
- 2 large ripe bananas
- 3 eggs
- 2 Tbsp coconut oil
- 3/4 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup coconut flour
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon - 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
Mix dry + wet ingredients in separate bowls. Next, mix all together with 1/4 cup of dark chocolate chips. Line bread pan with parchment paper or coconut oil and add mixture. Slice another ripe banana in half for the top and sprinkle with a few more dark chocolate chips. Bake at 350 for 55 minutes.
Most recipes add 1/4 cup maple syrup as well, but I just added an extra egg instead and it is plenty sweet and delicious. #bananabread#healtyrecipes#glutenfree

I make this #bananabread at least once a month. For so long I experimented with many different recipes that I was never happy with. I found this version on #Pinterest about three years ago and I have never looked back. It turns out the same perfection every single time. I don’t know what the magic is (maybe has to do with the use of both baking soda and baking powder?) but it has become such a used recipe that it has found a home on the inside of my cabinet! Side note: I recently started following Jordan @funcheaporfree and quickly realized this recipe originated with her! (Even though it says so on the printout - duh!) I love this banana bread so much I specifically set bananas aside for ripening to keep giving me an excuse to make it! Swipe for the recipe! Included are my alterations (addition of #freshlygratednutmeg , 1 tsp salt, and reduced sugar).
