I run classes at 6am (Monday + Thursday) for the busy/crazy/energetic woman and at 9:30am (Wednesday + Friday) for the equally busy/crazy-but-had-more-sleep/energetic woman. ⠀

All classes can be adapted to suit you individual fitness level.
Getting up early can feel like a special-kind-of-hell. The Sunrise Sessions are running again from July 16 through until Sept 20 on Monday and Thursday mornings. ⠀

We’ve got fitness levels ranging from a brisk walk/slow jog is a challenge up to “more burpees? Right on!” ⠀

And there is no holding any of them back. 🙅🏻‍♀️. No one wants to stop! So there’s a bonus round to get us through to the end of this term and right now until Her Majesty has her fake birthday, all four bonus rounds are just $15. Not $15 per session. No ma’am. $15 for all 4! Who’s ya queen now ??? ⠀

I did something weird today. I went for a run on my own. Despite public perception that as a PT I’m constantly running or burpeeing or lifting or stretching, I’m just like everyone else and need various forms of motivation. Usually, and especially when it comes to running, I need people. ⠀

But today, I didn’t want to people. I didn’t want to talk. I didn’t want to worry if I stunk (probably did: #sweater). I just wanted to run.⠀

Arrr-news-flash. Fitness comes in all kinds. Ya see, early Monday mornings, I work with the hard-core type. The ones who lead busy lives but know how important getting some exercise into their day is, so they get up prior to the sparrows to do it. And when they’re there, they want to make it worth their while 😅 so they give one hungy percent. 
Then a little while later, I’m at a retirement village doing water aerobics. These dear things give zero trucks about aesthetics and come religiously to the workout for the sake of social interaction, mobility and longevity. 💪🏻👵🏼 After that I feel incredibly lucky to work with a man who sadly, has early-onset dementia (frontal-temporal lobe for the med-geeks amongst you). Given the state of his condition he doesn’t have a lot of choice or say in what we do, but his wife employees me to ensure her husband can stay as mobile and alert for as long as possible 💕 [and based on the crooked smile he gives me from time to time, I think he doesn’t mind.] Then it’s onto some PT with some post-partum mums who want to get their mojo back. We go hard, but cautiously, knowing bods don’t bounce back as quickly as some instagrammers would have you believe. 🙄 
Annnnd in the evening .... I’m back on pool deck at @swimandsurvivalacademy with a mix of everything - the ones who want a serious full on workout, the crew who just want to move and some soon to be, or recently have become, mums. And thankfully water aerobics can cater for all of that in the one class 🏄🏻‍♀️ I feel hashtag-blessed [also hashtag-stuffed] to see exercise prioritised for a myriad of different reasons. And that’s just Monday !
