Pagi ini setelah baca satu artikel di website @huffpost tentang persepsi yang salah tentang obesitas, jadi semakin sadar bahwa kesehatan tidak dilihat dari timbangan saja, tapi terlebih lagi dari kebiasaan makan sehat dan olahraga. .
Faktanya, penelitian sejak tahun 1950 an menyatakan bahwa 98% orang yang berusaha diet akhirnya kembali ke bb yang semula, ini dikarenakan metabolisme tubuh yang menurun ketika kita diet ketat dan membiarkan tubuh untuk terus - terusan diet artinya melawan metabolisme tubuh kita sendiri.
jadi apa yang harus dilakukan? Menurut penelitian juga dikatakan bahwa ‘habit’ atau kebiasaan makan sehat dan memperbanyak aktivitas fisik akan membuat lebih sehat , juga diterapkan ke anak - anak dan hasilnya mereka lebih baik dalam pelajaran di sekolah, walaupun tidak terlihat di timbangan. Faktanya banyak juga orang kurus yang’unhealthy lean’, sementara orang obesitas bisa lebih sehat dan memiliki metabolisme tubuh yang baik karena makanan sehat dan olahraga. .
Jadi tetap semangat teman - teman dalam membangun kebiasaan sehatnya ya, healthy in all size 💪
Dinner is served 🍽 Tonight we’re having a Portuguese style meal 🇵🇹- Pork cooked in garlic and red wine, mashed potato and steamed greens, but most importantly this simple, refreshing orange #salad that goes so well with the richness of the pork! To make the salad, we toss wild rocket, watercress and red gem lettuce in a large bowl with some crushed garlic, sunflower oil and orange slices cut into quarters and add a pinch of salt. The past few weeks have been a struggle, I haven't been able to do any regular workouts because I've felt so tired and crappy, usually I would know this time of year that it would be the winter depression setting in but it's not even that, so far blood tests havent come up with anything and waiting so long for the doctor is stressing me out!!!... And now the kiddos have colds 😔
So today I decided to do a fun dance workout, it's not as Intence as my usual, but it still does the job, it gets my heart beating, my blood pumping and the sweat pouring 😂 its also destressing even just for the 30 mins ☺️... And I didn't get away from working on my squats... That just never seems possible, although they were a bit more fun than usual! 😂
If I dont give my legs a regular workout my left leg can give me problems, when I was pregnant with my two youngest I had a condition called SPD its where your pelvis softens early and its painful, so much that alot of the time I couldn't walk and when I did it wasn't far, with my last it was worse and it stuck around afterwards, it eases with regular exercise and stretching but it can still hurt sometimes if I don't keep it regular, this started to happen recently but after a good leg day workout it felt so much better.
It would be so easy to make all these things an excuse to not workout at all, but I made a promise to myself and to my family, to be the best me, this sometimes means taking it easy too... With a library full of workouts at my finger tips It makes it easier to choose a workout to suit my goals when I'm up to it and to choose something easier when I'm not.
Hopefully we can find out the cause of all the problems soon!!! but till then I'll just be over here taking it easy and choosing the less Intence workouts ☺️
