Booked my vacation! Looking forward to travel to Poland at the end of August! I’ll spend a few days in Warsaw before going to Wrocław and maybe Kraków. I’m flying out in early September from Gdansk. I’m looking forward to your recommendations (hotels, museums, restaurants, cafes etc.). If you are currently in one of the cities, please let me know, I’m looking forward to see you, again!
Woke up at 3.30 am to take a walk in Gdańsk's oldtown before going back home. Ended up walking around this stunning architecture painted in sunrise's colours. Having all of it only for ourselves was the best decision! 😍
To all of the seas out there - I'm sorry but Baltic sea is the best 🌊
It's cool, fresh, not as salty, cleaner than bunch of the seas in Asia, is full of amber and has such a romantic vibe! And it always, always feels like home, no matter in which country you're visiting it. Baltia, you're gold 💙
Yesterday's seaside treasure hunt for amber at Sobieszewo island, Gdansk was one big adventure. Went with a friend I made at the hostel. A bike ride of 20 k got us there, but not before we got lost in the woods and eaten alive by the most mosquitos I've ever seen... and then we were there, so we could enjoy the stunning views of the Baltic sea and Gdansk in the far distance. And... actually finding tiny pieces of amber, but we were not entirely sure if they were in fact amber. Then while biking back, getting lost in the woods again. And when we asked a lovely lady if she could identify the real pieces of amber, she gifted us a whole bag. Fun fact: we actually did find some tiny bits too.
He's had an exhausting day of speed dating in Kraków, he heard Polish girls are where it's at, he didn't find a lover.... so he's drinking his sorrows away in absinthe. Domo, your lady is out there I promise #domokun#backpackingpoland#krakow#banialuka#bestbar
