🇦🇺 Kakadu National Park, WA
Located 240 kilometres east of Darwin in Australia’s tropical north, Kakadu National Park is Australia’s largest terrestrial national park. Kakadu covers almost 20,000 square kilometres and is a place of enormous ecological and biological diversity. It extends from the coast and estuaries in the north through floodplains, billabongs and lowlands to rocky ridges and stone country in the south. These landscapes are home to a range of rare and endemic plants and animals, including more than one-third of Australia's bird species and one-quarter of its freshwater and estuarine fish species.
The adventure continues! Goa and Mumbai were very nice. Palolem in south Goa was perfect to relax and walk the beaches in the monsoon rains, and north Goa was perfect to explore with a little scooter! Mumbai was a lot more busy, with us attempting our first unreserved trains, fast food, and seeing some of what Mumbai has to offer, including the Gateway of India and Indias biggest dhobi ghat with over a thousand older washing stations and newer bulk washing machines in. Last but not least I got to see Prashant again from my stay in 30 Mollison Rise, who showed us around and took us to lunch. Now we are on a 18 hour train to Jodhpur - just had takeout delivered to our train seat - life isn’t so bad. @shcoma @prasha21 #backpacking#india
After 3 weeks of Indonesia I was back home for 3 days with a cold and a really bad jetlag.
Now I am getting ready for Crete, Greece.
This was above Dubai on my flight back to Switzerland ✈️ #fromindonesiatogreece#brightsideoflife#travel
