Baby got back 💃🏽 (Angus is gonna kill me for the last pic lol, looking like Dr Alex) 🤣 One year between these pictures! 💪🏽 Though it wasn’t till Christmas 2017 I finally plucked up the courage to join the big scary @puregym_plymouth with my housemates Ash and Angus. 😀 I’ve started noticing an improvement in my core, but obviously you can’t usually see your back so I didn’t think much had changed! The start of another week...I know its tough so here's a little #mondaymotivation to get you going!
#Repost#mondaymotivation this year, I’ve set several #goals one of these goals is #stricteverything and another important one is to change my #lifestyle with #rp chasing these goals has helped me to grow some #wings . I am so happy to see this 16 week #transformation
I don’t know much, but I do have some advice.
1. There is no easy way. The time consuming, learning, and evolving is the right way. Don’t do the crash diet that you cannot handle. Do the lifestyle change, one meal at a time. Soon you will notice that it’s easy to live #healthy
2. If your working on your #gymnastics skills, don’t rush. #strict it up. It’s the best thing for your #strength and it’s the #safe way. I went an entire year and a half of only kipping at my first #crossfit gym and essentially I lost so much time of strength that I could of had.
3. Busy parents, busy people: you got this. You can make time for it. You just have to really want it and set your #why make a list of your top goals and set a time to reflect on them weekly.
4. I keep seeing posts about never looking back, but I think we should look back to see how far we’ve come. I went through hell for several years and every time I look back I smile, knowing that I am #strong because of it and would of never found #crossfit which essentially saved my life.
5. If people don’t believe in you, oh well! Believe in yourself. I have crazy goals and a few have told me that I can’t do them. Well, they aren’t me and they don’t know my #motivation and #drive
6. If you need help, reach out to others that may be able to give you advice and walk you through the beginning steps.

Can’t believe I still got some back muscle I have only had 4 back sessions since being back into the gym so I must have some good genetics in order to keep it lol but seriously I need to take my bulking diet seriously once I do that the gains will be unreal! Having a little baba can slow u in some ways lol still my blessing and thankful for motherhood 🤱🏽#backgains •

A day early for #transformationtuesday but I’m ending my 2nd cut with @rpstrength today and it feels good! Really proud of the little bit of definition I’m starting to see in my quads and, of course, #backgainz . .
Honestly though, I struggle a lot with cuts. This one was tough. But the perspective of slow progress over time and learning what balance and a sustainable approach to healthy eating looks like is what I appreciate most about RP. I don’t know if I’ll ever be the person who is able to say that 3 months of saying no to eating out with friends is easy, but after a year with RP, I have a completely different view on nutrition. It’s a good feeling.

Today I came here, where I used to go every summer from when I was 3 months old 👶🏻 to 15 yo. all the memories were so good, and I had a glorious ice cream as well 😍 now ready to leave in two days for Tuscany ❤️ Finally my time for holidays. 🤓
Leg day today but wanted to try to do some pull ups after my workout! (Last 2 videos). My attempts were OK... but I am kinda proud of my back gains. 😜 I had no idea it looked like that haha. But i will keep trying to do better for sure! I was excited! Leg day was good too but that was the highlight of my day lol😁😁

We had such an amazing day today! I’m so grateful to be able to say, “Yes!” when we get invited to go to a lake house on a random week day!
A beautiful day! Water was amazing! Kids had so much fun! I got to hang and chat with some new mamas!
Then to Niagara Falls to meet up with a friend who was in town for a few days. I forget I live so close to one of the wonders of the world.

Only look back to see how far you have come and to check out your back gains!! 💪🏼😝 Getting healthy was a process and I’ve come a long way. I’m loving my current workout routine, way of eating, and lifestyle. Here’s the breakdown: I’m focusing on 4-5 weight workouts usually outside (since I’m in the gym training clients most of the day) and running intervals with clients 3-5 times a week. At least 1 but normally 2 rest days each week. I’m eating a HIGH veggie diet with lots of healthy fats, some high quality protein, and some fresh fruits/nuts daily. I try to get in 5-10 cups of leafy greens/veggies daily, I get most of that in with a huge chopped salad. I avoid sugar, grains, and processed foods as much as possible in my daily diet. We also try to limit eating out not only to save $$ but to avoid the low quality oils and foods that are in all of and even the “healthiest” of restaurant meals. I also focus on limiting alcohol to only special occasions, drinking one cup of bulletproof coffee, one cup of bone broth, then only water on a daily basis. Walking as much as I can daily, getting enough sleep, and maintaining a good nighttime/morning routine to keep stress down. All these things help fight disease and keep my brain healthy while keeping me energized, strong, and fit. I started off so SLOW with all these changes, focusing on one thing at a time. You don’t have to go from #0to100realquick just take your time working on creating healthy habits while you learn what works for you and your lifestyle.
